I don't know if that's my video card, because I cannot find a tab that says "Video Card"

My ATI Radeon 9700 decided to take a turn for the worst, there will be a memorial service held for it tomorrow, as it has faithfully been in operation for the last 5 years

It has now been replaced with an NVIDIA Geforce FX 5900 Ultra...
still a little aged, but it works...

In my laptop I have some Intel mobile 4 series chip, and in my desktop I have an ATi HD4850. The first one is decent enough for an integrated chip, but the latter one just completely sucks. Well, the card itself I suppose is halfway decent, but the Linux drivers (both the open ones and the ones from ATi) are just horrible.

So I just bought a used XFX Nvidia GTS 250 to replace it. Hopefully that'll play nicer.

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD4670... cheap, not power hungry (70w) and can run pretty much anything on high or medium with filters at 1680x1050
