Quoted from South Park Episode 410 - Do the Handicapped go to Heaven:

" Bubbula, Hell is only a concept used by Christians to scare their believers into following them. We don't believe in Hell because what matters is being a good person now --- Shiela Broflovsky "

Honestly, Blacksun23, you should read up on those "so called" blasphemous & pagan religions that Christianity wrongly labels.

Not every Pinoy in the homeland is Catholic:

There are also Buddhists, Hindi, Taoists, Muslims (in case you forgot), Wiccans & even Satanists & Scientologists here as well.

maybe 25% of filipinos arent christians
    thats small...

Not 25% Remember most of the Mindanao folk are Muslim, so that's almost a third, add to that the 10% living on either Luzon &/or the Visayas region. The rest are as I said either Christian or other.

And the thread has gone off topic.

As for my worth, I rather be just another nameless face than a person whose name transcends ages 8)

in mindanao small scattered villages have few inhabitants and most left for luzon and changed their religion
    then theres the war
and most of our squatters are christians

I don't think so, the Muslim people are more respectful with their religion so much so that they're willing to kill for it, so they converting to Christianism is a bit far fetched. But Christians converting to Islam is very common.

Oh & yeah I'm a very religious person, but my beliefs as I said on an earlier post is based on the collaboration of different belief structures from various religions :D

    25% is hardly small, it's a quarter.

Well i aint gonna lie, i have asked this question to myself. 1 time i remeber were i went through a phase in my life were i realy didnt care for my life.

i just worked across the road almost getting ran over by cars, and i did 1 time still. i even asked close friends, the same question "Do you think you would of been better if you didnt know me?" and i always got the same reply "That question is out of the question".

Honistly if i wasnt born, my parents would probly be better of. the reason for me thinking this is because i was born and raised in a 3rd world contry. and you know how kids are, "i want this, i want that" well back in the day they used to buy me things that i wanted, even though we was poor. so if i think back now, if i didnt ask for anything right to this minute my parents would most likely be living a "Higher" Life than they are now.

but then again i have done things to get my parents out of trouble like when i was 5. my dad teached me how to pick lock doors and steal at night. i used those skills that he teached me when i was 12 here in england to steal playstations for my entertainment, and to sell of and give the money to my parents to pay for bills.

Honistly i dont care if you think im just chatting shit, about my dad teaching me things like that. everyones different, everyone full on different.

That's a bit hardcore 1Blacks1 but I don't judge you for it, the fact is you've got to do whatever to survive. Here some people even go farther by selling off parts of their bodies for money. That's just how hard the real world is.

If I didn't exist things would be a lot different too. My dad (bastard) wouldn't have thrown my mum outta the house right in front of me when I was 6, damaging my mum's back. He would pay the goddamn child support so that we (Just me n' mum) could pay all the bills when they come, n' not have to give up a utility every month.

But my mum constantly tells me she loves me and still puts a little cash away every pay check so that I can go to the movies with my mates once in a while. My best friends also tell me they love me, and value what I have to say.

No matter how down in the shit you are I guarantee that there is someone somewhere who really does love you.

And CRV, without you have the threads in this forum wouldn't exist! I mean you make a difference to me HEAPS. And 1Blacks1, I wouldn't have got that post you did bout the clan girls without me, 'sgotta count for something!

Having gone through almost the same path you & your mom did made me a bit teary. And what's even painful is even though I give my share to help out my mom & godmother, they both say what your mom tells you, they want me to enjoy the money I give them for myself rather than giving it to them.

There are FAR too many of us. It feels... well coming back to the topic; I feel unworthy of the money that she gives me, but I do my best to help out. I pay rent to my mum now that I'm almost finished high school, that was hard enough to get my mum to go along with.

I think we are all worth something, it is just a matter of finding our worth for ourselves. Doesn't matter how hard I work I still occasionally get that pang of guilt that I'm sure EVERYone has experianced at least once for their parents.

questions like these puzzle us, there is no definite answer to that, for no one can know their purpose or your worht until you have fulfilled that purpose. People may tell you that you're not worth anything, that you're a waste, you should die, you shouldnt have been born (or thats just me) and a few other hurtful things, but think about the contribution you made towards persons life and the impact you made to them. if you had no worth then you've just died like some of those infants that don't even spend a proper day on earth.
