Thanks.. I'm still irriated that I only got 89 WPM and not 90 like I was trying to.

I think to begin with, you should learn how to touch type (Where you can look at the scren and without looking at the keys, type in the info that you want to type in), as this is the basis of typing and will enable you to read the information while you are typing it in, increasing how fast you can type.
After you have mastered that (Which took me a good 6 - 12 months), then you should keep at it. The more you type the faster you will get, as well as your accuracy..

I can't say that it is an easy task because it really isn't. It takes time and patience.

ah so that's a close one, 89 to 90! I can touch type but not really as fast as you. I'm going to try that link.

Yes it's annoying because it is so close :p

    Okay :)
Just remember to take your time... If you start off slow then that is probably a better idea because you may have more accuracy, and over time you can start to move your fingers faster because you automatically remember where all of the keys are. ^___^

Well how about you trying to practice them? You could for instance, open up a blank Microsoft Word document and try to spell as many words as you can that involve those letters, even if you have to find a dictionary.

Try to find words that utilize the letters in the middle of the word as well as it isn't much help if they are just at the start or the end of a word. You need to try and learn to be able to press those keys effectively after pressing any other key.

There are several ways that you should hold your hand when you're typing. Like your right hand from left to right. (Index, Middle, Ring Finger, Pinky) should rest somewhere around the region of h, j, k, l, respectively. And the same for your other hand on the other side of the keyboard.

After you can do those letters effectively, you should probably trying to implement symbols into your text such as hypens (-) Apostrophe's (') and brackets ( ), You could also do it with square brackets if you like so you can do fluent BB code as you type in a forum.. (Like RomU ^_^). Taking into account that some of these may use sharp timing of the Shift key in order to reach a very fast typing time. It's good to practice that beforehand as well.
