Cool, but mine is running under a special program, it is no big server... Just one that lets you know when the games come out and what you need if you have a FC (FlashCard)

that is not a server, it is a feed reader or something.

Feeds i have enough... My mail is full of them... I don't send the mail, the server program does... The server is NOT on my PC where i go on internet with, i have one Server PC and one Normal PC.

It is upgraded today, i see... Version 2.65... The server continually checks if there are new mails of requests, and gives me a notification... Ah, server update is done, now i can install new features...

    WINDOWS 7 x64 FTW!
I used the RC... AND I still have the ISO on my DVD-R.
    NO MORE VISTA!
F-r-e-e that spells free, free Windows 7 for me bay-bee!
HP says they are shipping it soon, YAY!

BTW... How good is Ubuntu, Linux, and Solaris?
Never tried them, and I know Ubuntu/Linux is free, Solaris I just heard them...

And yoshi... That "Server" you are talking about is RSS, I think. You click that Orange radio wave icon and it asks you if you wanna subscribe to the site.

RSS IS A TYPE OF SERVER!
    And so is MySQL!
    And so is .NET!
A lot of things are servers!

Like the server that hosts RomUlations roms!
Or the one that holds your email like cox.net!

    It isn't.

ubuntu is a crap form of linux, and solaris is a linux distribution owned by sun microsystems. Theres better distributions out there, such as SuSe or mandriva (or fedora).

These are not servers. RSS is a method of using xml to provide uptodate information, .net is a programming framework. MySQL is a database server application.

It would be Win XP Pro, but the 64bit version sucks (not drivers for all devices, none 100% german version etc)
Because of the fact i want a 64bit os, its win 7 ultimate.
Mac and linux isnt something for my first partition.

XP pro x64 was sort of an afterthought and was never seriously supported. Server 2003 x64 was the first properly supported 64bit windows (ignoring itanium versions of windows 2000).

Sure... I wanted to say that!

Anyway, I will try a Mac one time, I think it is good for me.. If a computer has over 100 GB, it is good for me...

My computer don't even have to be above 50GB... Just my dad's work requires a lot of memory for documents.
And right now my folder is cluttered with crap...

And I forgot to add... W7 Pro & Ultimate can emulate Windows XP.
So, you can use XP with 64 bit capability and lots of RAM.
And it allows more compatibility for drivers.

This is a very good point; microsoft do not make it widely known that windows 7 home cannot do this. Don't buy home if you want XP compatibility.

Someone will eventually crack it for Home Premium.

They will not, the feature is not present.

ok, now i'm not supposed to asked this but i will. the xp compatibility means all gadgets, programs that run in xp will ultimately be compatible with windows 7 ultimate, right? no updating of drivers and such, like it will automatically do it for itself?

you will need different drivers, windows 7 uses the vista driver architecture which is fundamentally different to the XP driver architecture. Having said that, windows 7 is very good at finding the right drivers by itself (using windows update).
