What is the most frustrating thing to happen to you in a game?

When i break the rule on FFTA by accident~! Feels like i wanna bash my DS~! >.<

 

The most frustrating thing that has happened to me was in God of War for PSP. I had a tiny bit of life left and was stuck on an area with a ton of monsters. Every time I died I had to restart with the exact same amount of life! Basically, stuck in a loop.

 

same reason why i stopped playing.

 

FFTA2? Yeah, that was annoying. Also, on Bahamut Lagoon, once I was at the latest dungeon (hard as hell to beat), I made a wrong move, and got killed before the last group of enemies. Palpeleos helped me a lot in that game.

 

FFTA had a much worse consequence for breaking the rule.
FFTA2 just takes away your little bonus.

Well, he said DS, I know that not many people have Slot 2 flashcarts. Or if he has the real cart, which is unlikely.

 

you'll be surprised how many people have the actual cart of FFTA.

there is a mission that really annoying, i forget what the mission's name, but it's a mission that the whole enemys are moogle (gunner)~! easy but frustating a lot! >.<

 

most of the time I just say screw it and break the rule, especially if it takes away my casting or something vital to survival.

most frustrating thing on a dreamcast is when it doesn't read fast enough and goes to the boot screen while I am in the middle of playing a game and it wants to check the disc (the same dumb message that pops up when you insert a disc while on the boot screen)

maybe I should put in padding so it doesn't do that...

 

When I was using the older version of Snes9x a while back, didn't support Chrono Trigger's multiple keypad presses, for Death Peak

 

Two of the most frustrating things that ever happened, 1: I was playing secret of evermore on the snes original cart, was upto the last area the space station tried to show my mate something in the game and saved over the file I was playing on by accident
100 + hours gone in a single second I have never played that game again since.
2: I had a copy of ff9 and had played extensivly not quite finished but around about 80 + hours, I lent my copy to a mate who had this game for about 3 months I asked for it back as I was itching to play some more, he then replies that he already gave me the game two weeks ago I never saw it again and soon after my mate was not my mate any more, it does not end there, a couple of months back I found a decent priced copy of the game on ebay, didnt read the auction thoroughly enough and bought it, it comes in the mail, it was the french version, can't read the text cant really play, so I then find a factory sealed version for about $40aus which is pretty damn cheap and in english, so I buy it, I get it in the mail get out my old 3rd party memory card with my ff9 save file on it, but the memory card wont even register on my ps2 so after all of that I now have to start the game over.
Suffice to say I am thoroughly pissed off.

 

you could've just played it on the computer since ePSXe emulates ff9 very well.
that's a lot of wasted money...

if ps2 is the highest sony console that you have, I would suggest getting the magic swap (no hardware mod) for your ps2.
that way, you don't have to waste money on ebay buying the game at an overinflated price.

 

When i passed star ocean till the end of time on hard difficulty or something i dunno its been a while since i played
the light went out in my whole neighborhood and i had to pass it again.

 

Pokemon Pearl on my Ncard, finiished elite four and got 76 battle points, all gone...

 

FFIV DS - Forgot to talk to Edward and got totally swept by the Dark Elf.

 

D/C on PSO BB as i was about to pick up a SJS from Gi-GUE, then next day get D/C when Hildetorr dropped Heaven Punisher.

Xbox 360 jipping me outta of of achievements after i did the requirements for them.

Having to go through 4 Xbox 360's(thank goodness for warranties)

CPU getting those cheap comebacks when they have one hit left(name any fighter).

Phantasy Star 1 cartridge burning out as i was at lassic.

Have to Download a bunch of patches for a game that was just released, thus making the installation fail because the required files are in the patch.

not being able to save after hours of playing
on the gb on pokemon blue already had it to wartortle lvl 32 and some 2 or three pokemons above lvl 20(1 above 30)
the gb turned off
low battery
pissed off

 

Yeah haha, that happened to me too, but when I played the SNES version a long time ago, so I still remembered it. You have to get the whisperweed.

 

Got Illidan down to a quarter health and then an admin resets the server.

Not only that, I lost over an hour of gameplay (meaning I am where I was an hour ago) and leaves me in the middle of the raid, not the beginning.
