No, Mother 3 was for the GBA. Not the Wii. And I just looked up Shiren the Wanderer.... I don't remember ever playing it before, so it can't be that.
what was the art style actually like? all you've said is that it was good for the console it was on. Was it cartoony or more CGI?

I think it was trying to be more realistic.... I have the GBA Lufia on my DS right now, it's not that... And it wasn't an SRPG, from what I recall....
Some kind of Dora game, obviously a joke. 100% honest here, not nearly enough details. People could probably give you tons of games that meet the very vague criteria you gave with you not even remembering enough to be able to determine if it was the correct game. I don't see this as more than a lost cause.
That's what they said when I was trying to remember the name of Seiken Densetsu 3, where all I remembered was that there were multiple player characters to choose and it was for the SNES.
This is very vague, I almost said shadow gate classic (the port of the nes one for gbc) but that has nothing to do with a curse...but it's a game I'd reccomend you play, old school rpg. VERY old school, not that turn based/action based stuff you see, more like a situational rpg when you interest with everything like a big puzzle.
