Why make him a mod?

Ethier he's been friendly, or just turn off post count for the whole site, that way no one would bother spamming.

I truely doubt that. It's surprising what people do to boost their post count. They think people respect them for having alot of posts.

 

Or in the case of GM, they posted because they thought posting let them have more ROMs.

Posts is for e-peen. Every 50 posts in an inch.

 

Thats why instead of Freewebs I choose a decent host with cPanel.
Well I also chose it for php, sql, subdomains, parked domains, backups, cropress and decompress and the rest you can't get on Freewebs without paying.

 

I don't actually know many people who have coded their own forums, but just use a template. Then again I guess it is sort of hard to create a forum out of scratch and try to think of everything that needs to be included off the top of your head. Just using a ready made template without any hitches is probably the best idea in most cases unless, of course, you want to be very picky and make a challenge for yourself.

So for an unbiased opinion on this, I'd say it's just like most forums, Average. They all have similar functions. A simple case of Copy and Paste add something here and something there.

Don't get me wrong I'm not being offensive I'm just pointing out the obvious :3

 

snebbers-I did the same thing-copy and paste and used a template.

Coding your own is alot, just trying to get a dragon as your main bar as I seen on a friends site was hard enough-let alone make it work


All forums are basically the same, however it's the comunity that makes or breaks them, I liked it because it has a yong vibe adn colurs I like

That said-because of the visuals used it takes a bit to load on my crappy connection, and it doesn't seem to have my fav thing activly on it...

I agree, getting the elements to the right positions is not the easiest task.
It's way easier if you already have a nice frame you can use.

Once I had a discussion with a friend.
He: now, let's program it
Me: huh, didn't we just do it?
He: ...I meant copy and paste it.
Me: Oh, yes.

If you already did a lot of work coping is the main work. ;D
