What did you watch before the anime boom?

    Cartoon network.
    I think Sailor Moon and DBZ were the only anime I watched back then. =P

    whoa cahos! haha loved the centurion alot...

    you know guys who "actually" wore the weapons...

    my first and best anime was NINKU...

    i still think naruto copied his rasengan from fusuke's ku-atsu-ken...

    Hmmm i rember paint oh watching as i caused ppl around me to doubt everything they hold dear well that and thundercats oh and power rangers (over cafinieated emo teen ftw)

    For me, Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, SPC, and Ranma 1/2 was really what made me want to watch anime. If you haven't seen it yet, then definitely take some time to watch it. I also watched all the really old shows like Voltron and the like. My aunt is the one who showed them to me.
