Would suck if he was something important like guardian or seer. Our chances would drop significantly if one of those died this early in the game.
Though I don't see anyone who's acting more suspicious than him.
So from my point of view it's our best option.

I vote for misery. Starting the game with voting is more likely a wolf tactic.

 

I don't know, how you're supposed to back yourself up, that's up to you to figure out.
