Anyway, let's start the next game. This week's theme is...



Humm... Yep, you may post your characters that originally appear in games from retro consoles. I won't accept characters that has the first appearance from the fifth generation consoles and above, this includes:
- Atari Jaguar, 3DO
- PSX, PS2, PS3
- N64, Gamecube, Wii
- XBOX, XBOX 360
- Sega Saturn, Dreamcast
For handheld :
- GBA, NDS, PSP, iPhone
- Game Park, Tapwave Zodiac, Gizmondo. Dingoo (I don't have any idea what are those actually )

For PC and arcade games, you have to post its release year, it must be released before 1995. Oh, mobile phone games aren't allowed.

Special for this week, to celebrate our new forum layout, I will give a whooping bonus of 10 points for the preliminary voting round and 5 points for the final, given to characters that only appear in one game, that character must not appear in any other game. Note that cameos don't count and I won't give points to characters that have its game remade (like Mother in Mother1+2 remake for GBA, BoF2, FFIV, or Chrono Trigger and others.

I've removed this week's bonus points since I just realized that almost all games have its remake, and it's a bit too hard for me to research if the submitted character is present in its sequel. Sorry for your inconvenience... I'll try to make other bonuses in later games that's easier to define such as game girls, bonus point for non-fighting characters.

Submitting Character:

• Each week, any user registered on RomUlation may post the maximum of 2 of their favorite character suiting the theme of the week in one post, no more. Edit your post to make all the necessary changes before the Round I voting.
• Only original video game characters should be submitted, licensed characters, like Spider-Man or Naruto, or real people portrayed in games, such as pro athletes or celebrities, won't be approved.
• The character submission post format should be like this:

  *The pic must not be too large, google up a reasonable size for the page.

The submissions will be closed on 1st of December, 2009 EST - 3 days from now.

By the way, have you noticed how there's hardly any official art for characters individually? They're usually in some landscape or making something, unlike the ones we posted on the other rounds who are usually on white backgrounds. Wierd.
