An AV signature update has now been released for CA eTrust AV that will detect this worm.

Try Vundofix. It might pick something up, but I think the MSN virus has to already be in your system. Anyways, it's always good to run at least once. I really helped me out when I had this virus that locked flags for itself and it had a hidden installer. Vundofix took care of it all.

Always check .exe files or any files with www.virustotal.com its free and it uses a bunch of anti virus's to scan the file too bad it can only check 1 file at a time.

we did check with different AVs and none of them picked it up. Virustotal would not have helped as it was an recognised varient.

That's why we sticked it, cause it didn't get picked up, it does not though since loony submitted it to an Anti Virus company. So it's all good.
