Warioware D.I.Y (U) Problems

All you do is boot ysmenu.nds like a game, and your ysmenu will popup

 

so... no updates for EDGE?

 

Found solution to sav problem on AKAIO 1.6 RC2.
Everyone was saying the sav was 32mb, so you set the sav setting to 32m. This is incorrect info! 32m is smaller than 32mb. You must set the setting on 256m to come up with 32mb sav.

 

I have an AK2i, download the AKAIO 1.6RC2, but when starting Warioware D.I.Y., the 'loading' bar fills half, then goes back, then fills half, goes back, etc.
Now I can't even play the game >_>
That will be waiting some longer.

 

This does in fact, WORK on acekard21 with Akaio 1.6rc2.

The only problem I have with it is that, when saving, the game REALLY takes a beating and slows down, and occasionally freezes. It unfreezes after a few seconds though. It also does this when your exiting or entering places too. (occasionally.)
IS this because the rom needs to be trimmed?

 

installed the latest firmware for my m3i zero on the dsi
and it created a large sav now
but when it was finished doing that i got an error:

save data file
format error

and cant even play the game anymore........ :'( :'(
what can i do now

Nvm i got one more thing to try.But i need the link to the patch that alowed it to read on the R4 menu because i forgot how to use it so i need to look at the instructions again.

 

hey,is it truth that R4 only support 512kb and not 32mb?
so,the R4 owners cant save on WarioWare D.I,Y ?

It could save if the game would load up on YSmenu like the jap verson did though.It doesnt though.

YSmenu reads multipal types of saves,so 32 megabyte would read on there.Just the game wont for some reason.

Let him ask a question; if you want to answer don't. If you do, then answer the question. If he does not wish to read the previous 18 pages, but still has a question, he can ask it, there is nothing wrong with that.

On topic: R4 works on v1.18, which sucks because it can't save there. And it's even worse because it would be able to save on ysmenu, but ysmenu can't play the game. Since the (J) rom works fine on ysmenu, my question is: is there an English patch for the (J) Rom? Everywhere I've looked seems to be empty or misunderstanding me (thinking I wanted the USA version of DIY). Any helpful answer would be appreciated.

Probably not, since the R4 team does not update, and our crappy R4s are outdated....Hopefully there is an English patch for the Japanese version though, since it works fine in ysmenu. I just wish that the game did not have such lengthy tutorials, since the previous Warioware games were capable of being played without even reading.

 

I have an R4i SDHC card with the latest 1.18b firmware, even with the fix I can't start it. It's just a black screen. Is anyone in the same boat as me? I think we're in luck though cause it seems the firmware for the card is updated pretty frequently to solve these kinds of problems.

 

installed latest AKAIO tested with the highest save thing 2##mb thing and succesfully works,saves,the comics, music everything! im so excited im downloading Smooth Moves(the wii one) to celebrate(im a HUGE Warioware Fan!)

 

I'm glad someone else has successfully played this game with the right file size, just please don't mix MB with M. This seems to have caused much confusion with many others.

 

Try deleting your old save and try again

 

So, it turns out I was using the wrong save type...

I changed it to 256M and it all works fine. ^^"

 

My Acekard Doesn't Work With The 256M Save?

 

Still no fix for DSTTi? aww come on.. all the new games are not working on DSTTi now , just so sad..

 

yeah i have dstt and i use 17.a12 but all those new games wont work
