Warioware D.I.Y (U) Problems

AKAIO 1.6RC2 fixes the saving problem for me, but the game freezes every time I want to get to the second game-creating lesson or load any of my WarioWare Inc. creations. How should I fix that?

 

does it work on firmware 4.8 on M3 DS real ?

 

Ah, geeze. What should I set the save type to, now? (AKAIO RC2 Latest thingy)
I was messing with the save type earlier and now I can't remember which one was the default. Unknown/Auto just makes the game freeze a bit when it saves.

 

I'm trying it now. is making save file, is running for over 10 minutes but it is still running. I'll make an update if it's works, but it shows promising

 

Gah, now it won't even play! AKAIO 1.6 RC2

I think I got the save type wrong or something. I have it on Unknown now and it dosen't load. What is the save type?

okay... first of all thanks bennius ^^, the game works fine on my ak2i using akaio 1.6 rc2. i just replaced the whole aio folder and it worked without changing any sav file options... YAY ;D

 

Doesn't it freeze for you, guys with AKAIO RC2?

AKAIO RC2 SAVES, but LAGS during save/load time. Which is often. And very annoying.
BUT IT'S PLAYABLE (I'll test the saving/loading of games in a bit. I'm still on the 101...again.)

Please note: When the game saves, YOU MAY THINK IT HAS FROZEN. It hasn't. Just wait and see.

 

I don't think so. When I save an image I made, it saves for just a second or two. Same thing with loading the main menu. But it DEFINITELY freezes when I try to do the things in my previous post (i.e. load an image in WarioWare, inc.). I waited few minutes for it.

 

v4.8 X does not fix the save problem, for the G6 at least. But considering it's the same firmware, I doubt it works on M3 either.

 

Alright, my tests are in, with AKAIO RC2 1.6 thingy...

It saves perfectly! (Tested via Job 2 of the Job Center)
It lags when saving... D: (...Everywhere.)

OskarPL, I'll try to look into that. Can you tell me everywhere it freezes for you? (Loading an image on WarioWare Inc. ...is pretty unexplained.)

 

Ok. I managed to play through the first set of Microgames and created the first picture Wario ordered me to. After this, it freezes in those points:

- main menu -> WarioWare, inc. -> D.I.Y. 101 -> Making Games -> Lesson 1 -> Step 2 (Step 1 worked)
- main menu -> WarioWare, inc. -> Job Center -> clicking any game (with the "ok" button)
- main menu -> D.I.Y. Shop (when i switch the date to the next day)

This pretty much prevents me from making any progress in the game, as you need to complete the Making Games lessons, to unlock the D.I.Y. Studio.

 

doesn't work on m3i. it took me 40 minutes to create the save and then it don't work!!!

I'll try RTS. that didn't work on 4.7

 

What about R4s? Do any previous patches work on it yet?

 

Theres one to stop the black screen proiblem,but not the saving problem.We R4 users are screwed because the game will not load on YSmenu.There for we can not use the proper 36(or whatever) MB sav due to the R4 only reading 512 KB savs inless you use YSmenu.


Most of the new games are gonna be like this for R4 users.

What if the SAV file is somehow "sliced" in many different 512kb files ? Or that it "carves" from that 32mb save and gets the data you need at that time on a smaller .sav file. lol,i know i am talking rubbish...just wondering.I am no programmer (as you can see)
