Warioware D.I.Y (U) Problems

Hey there, I tried the R4 patch and fixes, still does not work. Can we get a definitive fixed rom that includes the save file everyone keeps talking about? thanks ahead of time. I'm willing to wait for the best version of this rom. I waited for months for the Spirit tracks rom to be good...and damn that was worth the wait! So I figure if some one can do us all a 'solid' and give Wario DIY the same love. That would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again, and terrific site!

 

just so we can clarify for everyone else, could people please make a list of stuff we have tried to resolve the save problem?

 

i try the ds1patch.zip i open the dat file and rename it to wario... .bak file so it works on AKAIO1.6. i hold down X and when it make save file it take long time so i think somethink happend. but still dident work.

 

somebody upload (USA) save file for save we got the patch all we need is a save from the patch in page 9-10 k somebody that can save on that patch upload your save k that should fix it the crack should be the already cracked one thats on fileshare or megauplod

Don't get your hopes up. Others have tried 32MB save files and the cards still can't use them right.

 

k im using emulator no card and all i needed was save so i can get my dad to make a patched rom with save working just needed supplies for research

The Japanese save file for Made in Ore works with YSMenu, you can save and everything, however on R4 default Firmware Made in Ore reports a corrupt save file. Now your save file makes R4 Firmware report a corrupt save file, and YSMenu doesn't, but the english version of the game doesn't work in YSMenu. My thoughts are once we can get YSMenu to play the english version of the game without black screen of death, then your save will enable saving the game.

We need someone to add support for UORE to extinfo.dat

I patched savlib.dat to support UORE's 32mb saves, but with the bsod problem there's still no game to save

 

Can anyone say if the save TirithRR posted works on AceKard 2?

 

Hold up i have r4 v1.18 it doesnt have a black screen for me but it freezes when i pick shuffled games in the store!

 

Just try it. It's only a 26KB file (compressed). Doesn't hurt to try.

TirithRR's save file doesn't seem to work with Acekard 2i and latest AKAIO firmware/loaders. It still works, but doesn't save.

 

So I have been monitoring this site for the past few days, and I would like to know if there is a new patch available? I downloaded Atle1995's patch program. I was successful in actually using the software (my first time I have ever done that, yay me!) but when I put the patch into my R4i, it just went all black screen on me. Then I tried lapatateinc's version and still no luck.

I have R4i-sdhc v. 1.08 and can run HG/SS without many problems, yet. I would get newer firmware, but alas that would mean I would have to invest in a new card. I am waiting for my friend to send me my AK2i, but that is beginning to look bleaker, and bleaker (financial reasons). Until that time, I am hoping that a good working patch will be released. I am using the Spirit Tracks patch version and the Kingdom Hearts 358/2 patch version just fine.
