hi folks new to the board, i heard about this site and decided to come and see the games, now i have a memory card inserted into the computer in order to save the roms onto, the memory card has an adaptor to use in my ds now, i have tried to download the roms and load them up on the ds but it just hangs and says loading now, do i need to nstall somethin on the memory card in order to play the roms on my ds what do i need to do?
What is the name of this adapter? Depending on the type, you have to put different firmware files on it. R4, Acekard, CycloDS, Edge, Supercard, etc.
Unfortunately there are a few different cards called the "R4 SDHC" that use different files. Is there a website listed on the card or on the box?

Download this one: http://www.r4i-sdhc.com.hk/r4new_downloads/English_v1.34.rar Extract the files, (see the link Seph posted). Take the files out of the English_1.34 folder and put them on your MicroSD.
just extracted the files onto the card, then drag and dropped the rom games on to the card, plugged it into my ds and still nothin, all it says is loading thats it, am i missing a file or somethin? do i need to put the games in a folder as i am just putting them with the extracted files? When you open your MicroSD on your computer, it should look like this: If any of these files are missing, or if they are in a folder, it won't work correctly.
i have an r4 sdhc from r4sdhc.com its not very good and it recently broke, i hope yours doesent. also just extract them into the root folder of your sd card the r4 will be able to boot up after that
it shows exactly that, but where it says menu.ini on that picture, mine only says menu where do i put the games, and will this be a problem as my ds seems not to find whats on the card
