Most likely not, setting up systems for local cards or SMS payment is far more complex and we don't really have the resources to do so.
Depending on the country you're from then paypal can tie in with your bank. Otherwise, a credit card is something everyone should have, beats running around with cash on you.
Only if you cannot manage your money. I can't say for other countries, but in Denmark debit cards haven't got nearly as much cover as credit cards, and there are very few people here who spends beyond their means.
