This may come of a huge surprise to you, but the ghost recon games never really interested me >.>

Although that Future Soldier game looked pretty cool, although i thought Ghost Recon games were more tactical and stuff, this seems like more of a run and gun change, kind of like Splinter Cell conviction went from Stealth to more of an easier play game type with the shooting.

Love that whole Driver san fransisco spoiler they did with the trailer, i hope they meant to do that.

 

well, now i'm really anticipating littlebigplanet 2. the games you can create are far more than i had imagined O_O
they look and seem to play great as well O_O

 

Wait, how is Donkey Kong a remake? From the videos, there's nothing that was present in the original.

I think Nintendo pretty much won for me. From Kirby (Pat will be please), to Zelda, to Kid Icarus, the 3DS, the GoldenEye remake (which looks interesting to say the least, and I think you can use the classic controller), and Epic Mickey looks cool . Along with the announcement of 3DS games (holy shit, Chaos Theory).

Sony didn't really have much that I remembered, there's a couple of games I want, the Move doesn't look that great, and I can easily live without it. But the exclusive stuff and PSN+ makes me want to buy more PS3 games. Although Twisted Metal basically made their presser. Shoving marketing campaigns at us isn't very fun to look at, I'd prefer games imo. Also thumbs up for Patapon 3.

And yeah Ubisoft's was horrible, just like last year. I wonder if MS will show anything cool in their second presser.

 

Game looked exactly the same as Donkey Kong Country, just with new super cool graphics, and shiny stuff.

I dunno, I'd have to play it to see. Nintendo just felt like a disappointment to me this year, but I've also mostly lost interest in what they do now.

After Gabe Newell showed up to Sony's conference, it turned a 180 for me, it was so boring at first but that last bit of it i just really liked. What sony has in store for the PS3 is right up my alley.

 

It looked like it and looked like it played exactly like the Country games, but I don't think it's a remake. All the stage designs and stuff like Diddy riding Donkey Kong, were not present in the first. And I would highly doubt they'd get a dev like Retro Studios just to remake a game. In fact, it's not at all a remake, I'm watching the trailer and there's o much different from the original stage and enemy wise.

It's more of a reintroduction on Donkey Kong Country.

In fact watching the trailer makes me thinkg that Jungle Beat didn't stray from the path, at all. DKC was a pretty fast paced game.


The Nintendo games to me seemed like a lot of fun, Kirby looked great, DKC:Returns looks fun, Epic Mickey looks good (I'm hoping it doesn't disappoint), Kid Icarus looks fun (even though it's basically Sin and Punishment), Zelda looks fun (and actually functions, not with having the problems Miyamoto had), GoldenEye looks alright (I wasn't a fan of the original). Hell, there's even a Paper Mario on the 3DS. While Nintendo showed new games, reintroducing games franchises to the console (DK and Kirby), they brought back Pit. They even have reimaginings of games. But the introduction of new hardware, with tons of third party support and the announcement of TONS of good games for it on the horizon. And a legit well thought out introduction to true 3D gaming pretty much made the entire presser, to me great.

Sony's was a lot better than MS' and Ubisoft. They were a step above EA. But they did a good job, I just wish they didn't try to shove their campaigns, and gloat about numbers and sales, it just dragged the presser down. Although they're making me rethink about multiplatform games, meaning that buying them on the PS3 is actually better than the 360. The announcement of Portal 2 (and Gabe saying the PS3 will have a better version of it than the 360) and Twisted Metal made the entire presser, great.

One thing I do really hate about their PSP ads is how retardedly arrogant it is. While it matches with Kevin Butler's persona, they to me don't have much to brag about with the PSP. While there's good games for it and all, there isn't that many compared to the amount that the DS has.

 

You've shut me down, I cannot argue with someone who has a real interest in something while I do not care one bit about anything Nintendo really does anymore, unless its Zelda. Maybe Metroid.

 

Nintendo won for sure.
I love how almost every one of my fave Nintendo AND third party franchises are getting upcoming release either on the wii or 3DS.
Seeing the 3DS itself wasn't all that impressive... but, OMFG that line-up sure was, and every game shown looked so fucking beautiful. This baby is a day one purchase for me, i'm sold.

I agree with the new DK game being a re-introduction; some of it doesn't look familiar.

Nintendo was the only segment that I WANTED TO KEEP MY EYES GLUED TO... Oh, and what REALLY caught my attention was Golden Sun Dark Dawn, despite the fact that the clip was less than a minute. Hardcore fans having played Golden Sun... oh man are THEY going to have fanboygasms over this XD

Oh, and Dragon Quest IX, I'm pretty worked up over too =3 Even though I haven't played any DQ games before, it looks really promising ^w^

 

I didn't really care about the Wii, the Nintendo handhelds have been always the best for a reason, which is why I've been so excited about the 3DS. DKC, Kirby, Other M and Zelda are just pure icing.

 

Yeah, personally I prefer the handheld DS and 3DS over the Wii myself...

 

There's so many games I'm looking forward to its unbelievable! XD

 

Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft did a pretty good presentation, i wont say who won or who was the worst. I will wait and see how many hardware and games the companies sell and then we will have a winner!

 

So far I'm looking forward to the new Zelda, everything related to the 3DS, MGS Rising, Dead Space 2, Portal 2, Warhammer 40k Space Marine, Warhammer 40k MMO, and then especially Halo Reach and Other M.

 

For YOU Nintendo was a "Winner"!dont be such a Nintendo fan boy,from what you said you only liked Nintendo,and you didnt even paid attention to the other companies such as SONY and MICROSOFT,for me the only thing i liked about Nintendo was the Nintendo 3DS and its upcoming games,as for Wii,the games are being constantly the same :more zelda,mario ,DKC,Kirby.and still no HD graphics,which sucks ass...

 

from the 2 "hardcore" pair of consoles, i think sony has it hands down.
from all 3, i think nintendo beat them hard.

 

GRAPHICS, GRAPHICS, And MORE GRAPHICS. Seriously, people like you only care about the graphics. New generation people are bad.

man its so true, people who haven't played chrono trigger snes hate the ds port since it has "bad graphics" man they are the best


if you want good graphics play kid Icarus or whatever since thats there show off game to show off 3ds graphics (surprising graphics/awesome)

the wii has awesome graphics just never use them apart from galaxay 1 & 2 and a few other games

 

Graphics don't make the game.

I admit Kid Icarus looks awesome, only because of the gameplay. Quick movements, jumping around, flying.
