[TUTORIAL] How to Jailbreak your iDevice

Ok, jailbreaking voids my warranty.
But what if I restore my iPod?
Will they know I've jailbroken it?

 

Quite possibly.
You can (as stated above) restore you device to factory settings, but this is Apple we are talking about. It is quite possible they are able to find out whether it is (or has) been jailbroken.

 

Well.
I've updated Redsn0w to the latest.

Also, there is no 5.1 jailbreak so do not update.
When there is one released, go ahead, but remember to do it via iTunes and not the updated on the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch.

 

Update:

- Redsn0w to 0.9.12b2
- Absinthe to 2.0.4
