    Unfortunately, the firmware and bios you've sent me don't work either. I thank you for trying to help me with it, but I need you to answer a question: Are you connected through a router to a cable modem? I might have to get a router myself to see if it actually works.

    Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller is my only option in my wifi settings by the way, and I always have it set to Infrastructure.

    Im connected trough a router (2 computers) to a ADSL splitter, like this http://i01.i.aliimg.com/img/pb/800/196/297/297196800_441.jpg... Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller for me too (MBO Asus P8P67 and win 7)

    Then it must be that I'm connected directly to a cable modem then. I'll look into getting a router, since I need one anyways, and I'll report back as soon as I can.

    My problem is here
    [IMG]
    Instead of the Highlighted option being there, There is only Microsoft and a blank.
    Everything else I followed exactly but I don't know how to get the option to appear.
    Yes I have used LAN to set all this up and what happens when I test the connection is it will be good ( 3 bars) for about 20 seconds then drop connection and give me either error code 52000 or error code 52100

    @Alper199216,
    As I said before, the image you posted shows you are connected using wireless (the white colomn graphic bar connection icon). Its not going to work if you are using that. Unless you change your method of connection, it will never work for you.

    @Elfy279,
    Your LAN connection type doesn't make use of the infrastructure, which is the reason why you don't see any PCI-E in the list. So you'll never be able to make use of the DeSmuMe WIFI feature.

    So, does that mean that it won't work because of the network I'm using and not because of my computer? Because I'm away from home for a couple of days so I normally use a different network. Sorry if its a stupid question but I'm quite new to roms and all these network settings :p

    Fixed ^^

    just link the pics, not the urls.
    And replace the URL tag with an IMG tag.

    I can't help you though, but this might be easier for people to see what your problem is :)

    you probably used AR codes, disable it and wait 24h or more. it seems that you gonna need to restart your game progress if the code you used is the pokedex one

    I suggest not to, in order to keep you on the safe side, but I never use cheats when playing so its hard for me to say if there will be any lasting effect. Again, just to remind you that if you edit/convert-reconvert the save file, just remember to perform the 'sync' just to trigger it so that it 're-sync' with the internal clock, then wait 24 hours after that or a bit longer. Normally it'll have no issues unless you are out of luck.

    UPDATE:

    I've added;
    1. Super Powerful Fukuoka Groudon
    2. Super Powerful Swampert, Sceptile, Blaziken
    3. Nobunaga Black Rayquaza
    4. Game Generation Poll Rayquaza
    5. JR Shinkansen 800 Godspeed Sakura Pikachu

    Here's the link to my Wonder Card Collection Topic : CLICK HERE TO GO DIRECT

    Note:
    I'm not re-uploading the pokemon images for the above recent wondercard events, can't locate the BB links I made on IMGUR. The original post went M.I.A. when SMF went down several times since few days ago which causes them to lose the real-time forum database.

    By the way, due to Romu being down yesterday (19th) and lost some if not many posts made before the down time. I just want to to say that I had responded to the posts directed to me, but even before the down time none responded to my reply. Thus I don't see any need to re-respond to those past posts. I'll be moving on to new posts made after the 'incident'. Thanks for your understanding. Happy gaming. ;)

    Hello, I posted this before the site went down, so maybe it got lost. I'm having trouble getting wifi to work, so here's what I'm doing.

    -The computer I'm using 64-bit Windows.
    -Wireless is turned OFF and I have an ethernet cable connecting the laptop to the router.
    -I turned off Norton firewall and Windows firewall.
    -The emulator is svn3947 x64 and the version of WinPcap is 4.1.2.
    -In Emulation Settings I have entered the correct paths to the BIOS .bin files and firmware.dfc; external bios, external firmware, boot from firmware, and bus-level timing are all ticked off.
    -In Wifi Settings, I have Infrastructure selected. The dropdown menu lists 'Microsoft' 3 times (why?) as well as RealTek PCle FE Family Controller, the latter of which I have selected.
    -I always run Desmume as an administrator.
    -We have multiple laptops in the house that use the same router, and someone is using one, but I have tried to connect unsuccessfully when the other computers are all off.

    I'm trying to play Pokemon Platinum. When I go into Nintendo WiFi settings it finds SoftAP fine. When I test the connection, I get green bars for a while, but then they turn red and I get error code 20401, "Unable to connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection."

    Under connection settings I see things like WEP key and IP address. Do those settings matter at all beyond locating SoftAP? When I try entering ONLY the WEP key I never get green bars then it I get error 51100 "Unable to connect to the access point. Confirm the correct WEP key has been entered, then turn your system off and on again." Restarting doesn't change anything. I get this error anytime I have the WEP key filled in, regardless of whether or not any of the below settings are filled in.

    When filling in all these settings EXCEPT WEP key, I get green bars, and it searches for a longer time than when I got the 20401 error, but I inevitably get error 52100 "Unable to connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Confirm connection settings and access point settings." (In this case I use my IP address which I found by simply typing 'ip address' into google.)

    I tried using the same settings as previously, but instead of the IP address I used the 'IPv4 address' (idk what the difference is) which I found in cmd along with all the other settings (like default gateway and DNS). But I get error 52200 "Unable to connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Confirm connection settings and access point settings."

    Can anyone figure out what the problem is?

    @yoyoma724,

    Don't turn off your firewall and/or antivirus. Don't risk your computer just to play game. Its not wise. What you must do is just allow "ADMIN Permission/Rights" to WinPcap and DeSmuMe through the security option under properties. That would be more than enough to set permission to avoid the DRM Protection from kicking in.

    No, you don't need to configure the WEP. While for IP, in some cases yes, especially when you have conflicting IP Address issue (error 20xxxx, 24xxxx, 51xxxx, 52xxxx). Which in your case that could be the case since as you said you have more than 1 computer connected to that ethernet router. By the way, set the infrastructure to the PCI-E Family. Try pressing 'CTRL-R' in DeSmuMe's main screen. If that don't work, then again the issue is that of IP related. Can't do much to help since its use by your entire family.

    @prectorian

    Thanks for the reply.

    My infrastructure has been set to PCI-E Family, and I made sure to reset the emulator afterward. So the problem is most likely the conflicting IPs, even though I tried even when all the other computers were off? Is there a way to temporarily disable the other computers from using the router (when no one else is using them)?
