    Aren't those games suppose to had been fixed long time ago? Maybe its been removed from the latest update.
    Are these mentioned games the ones that froze on the latest dats? Or is there any of the new ones too? Such as?

    @Jhon,
    I doubt that's the case, as all the files provided by RGF uses the same 3 dats, only the bootloader vary in size. Then again, I'm sure RGF has tested them all before uploading it.

    I don't have the issue either, seems like we R4 Original users are spared from the trouble. But I'm curious as to which games that didn't work on the new version? None has mention the name of the games in question, or does this issue happen on all games?

    Edit:

    In both v.6.63 and v.6.63_5802, RGF did not mention what fixes he had done to try solve the loading issue. I'm curious on what's going on.

    No one report the name of the problematic games either to RGF.

    But no efect on YSMenu R4 orignal.

    @ab0456

    With TTdT.exe you can open both extinfo.dat and infolib.dat at the same time and copy from one to the over the games you like to be added, just save the file, nether save as

    @Jhon,

    Well, its strange indeed. Maybe those with issues can try deleting certain Game ID offsets that will never be use. Such as if you are only playing the EUR version of Pokemon, then remove the USA and JPN version. That way it will reduce the size of the dats. It may well solve the issue. Of cause its just a theory.

    For both of us, we always customize our dat files to only contain the games that we're playing. I don't copy all of RGF or your offset to my custom dats, so mine is significantly smaller in size compare to RGF's monthly updates. I only add the game offsets for the games that I download and will play only. As for the other YSMENU/TTMENU users usually choose to overwrite their exsisting dats with the new ones, thus they have both the offset of the games they play and the ones that they will never ever touch. Thus theirs grow in size while ours trail behind.

    @prectorian

    Maybe RGF might have some idears, I don't think he would nip in hear with them.

    Ok i made a new DAT extinfo.dat and infolib.dat with only them games @ab0456 asked for and he says it worked....

    So maybe i will make a new extinfo.dat with all the games and see if changes anythink..., Just a thought.

    I don't copy all games just the new ones added, with my DATs them games that need encrypting no longer need to be encrypted just play as is, They are a few changes in my DATs.

    Re: TTMenu/YSMenu v6.72 for TTDS(i)/R4(i) SDHC/R4(i) Clones/M3(i)/DSONE(i)

    Given that your theory on extinfo and infolib size had reach its limit for clone cards is presume as correct, then of cause the dat you made for ab0456 will work. Which certainly would lead to a solution for clone users having to customize their dats by themselves in future.

    Edit:

    Got to go for few hours. Am relief to know I don't likely need to re-update the dats in my cartridge to v.6.63. Hope you guys with issues find solution soon.

    Interesting issue... I also have the load freeze error after updating to 6.63. The freeze error is with ANY game. Suppose we need to customize our own DAT files... could you explain how to do this? Maybe I can try this in the meantime... Thanks!

    @prectorian

    Along time agow i can across a website where the size of the infolib.dat / extinfo.dat can be increased in either _DS_MENU.dat are r4patch.dat but i lost that website long agow, they is data that can be edited.

    Now i can not find that site :(.

    Asking people to edit there own would be a right pain :-\.

    @Ricosan

    TTdT.exe can edit extinfo/infolib opend two at the same time all the files you need are in this package

    And you can use titlelist5802.xml help to view all games listed in extinfo.dat / infolib.dat / savlib.dat with TTdT.exe

    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=LZMNIIH6

    Also you may wish to try the dats out anyway replaced into the TTMenu folder

    Hope this help, also you can make a new dat by new - dat - extinfo , copy and paste games from one to anuther , then save named extinfo.dat / infolib.dat manul type in name and save , do not save as.

    save to a new folder

    OK, I will try that. Do I only have to create new extinfo.dat and infolib.dat? What about savlib.dat? Maybe these are stupid questions, but I don't know which file does what. Thanks!

    Re: TTMenu/YSMenu v6.72 for TTDS(i)/R4(i) SDHC/R4(i) Clones/M3(i)/DSONE(i)

    extinfo.dat / infolib.dat fixes errcode=-4 and AP in games

    savlib.dat is only for certain games with bigger save sizes then 512kb, Pokemon ext

    You can make new dats and open the over and copy and paste the games you like from one to the over, when saving the new dat click save only and right in the type of dat extinfo.dat / infolib.dat and save it to a new folder so no confusion

    Also you can drag and drop in the original dat and open the same type of dat you have drag into

    with titlelist5802.xml they are instruction in the package on how to open this

    Also have you tired first the dats in the package ?, copy to your ttmenu folder and try them...

    Re: TTMenu/YSMenu v6.72 for TTDS(i)/R4(i) SDHC/R4(i) Clones/M3(i)/DSONE(i)

    I'm back....decided to postpone what I plan to do just now.

    @Ricosan,

    No need to touch the savlib.dat, hasn't change much since v.6.58.
    Try Jhon's theory about size limitation, try keeping only the offset in both extinfo and infolib for the games that you will play (based on the roms collection you have), remove the ones that you'll never use. Assume RGF's fixes as a database bank, take the ones you need, ignore those you don't. It might be the fix everyone been looking for. Again its still theory and only after someone using clone cards try this method and prove it right then it become a solution.

    @Jhon,

    Its funny that now those on GBATemp are turning to blaming their SD Cards as the source of the issue. Thinking that they should buy better or bigger size card. I assume they are thinking about it as the source of problem because RGF is using an 8 Gb San Disk Micro, while most of them are using 2Gb or 4Gb from San Disk or Kingston. Didn't even bother to stop and think that it could be the dat size as the probable issue.

    Edit:
    Maybe no one realised that this is I think is the first time RGF had to upload his dat updates more than once in a single day, and especially its not related to his prank of phony offset.

    @ prectorian

    You got that right, Although i'm not sure if it is the hole issue but like the few games i added for ab0456 worked very strange.

    GBATemp people are not looking for a real answer to there problem, Maybe RGF 8GB card might be anuther answer...

    EDIT last quote on the GBAtemp page

    But also strange how smaller microsd chips worked with smaller DATs sizes...l

    Re: TTMenu/YSMenu v6.72 for TTDS(i)/R4(i) SDHC/R4(i) Clones/M3(i)/DSONE(i)

    @Jhon,

    That post about "4Gb work", is irrelevant cause if you see the other one, said that it work on his 2Gb. So no, I don't think its SD Card related. Your deduction about dat size limit is more logical.

    In any case those on GBATemp are whinning for RGF to give them solution but not try to help him think up a solution. They take it as a one sided affair. Brainstorming together for solution is better than nagging one person to troubleshoot their problem, especially without giving as much detail information as possible to what had been suffered.

    @prectorian

    I agree, maybe a topic or a right down of how to add your own games into a new extinfo.dat and infoib.dat / savlib.dat maybe the solution, I'm just not good with the way i explane on how to do this with TTdT.exe

    I'm only quick in mind.

    Maybe someone can try a few exp with TTdT.exe and right down better then me on how to use and do.

    The only issue with TTdT.exe is to save your file but "Do Not" save as

    Unfortunately, I haven't the time to create that topic at least for the next few days. I'm rather preoccupied these few days. I think it would be better if either you or iluvfupaburger make one. A visual version should be better, no need writings. Pictures with step numbers should be sufficient.

    EDIT: People can lean for them self's if they just try-ed a few ex permats with the program on how to use it!
