i got the encrypt thing and then i pressed 1 when it was up. it said it was completed and then i ran the game and it still had white screen.
and does Super Scribblenauts work on latest version of ys menu?

Super Scribblenauts don't need encrypt - it's already decrypt

anygame that is already encrypted needs decrypting , if you are on windows vista are windows 7 run program as admin

Make sure the either r4patch.dat are ttpatch.dat is correct verion in the ttmenu folder - are extinfo.dat and infolib.dat

"DSTT users. official kernel 1.18 is out on dstt site but they stole retro's files and claimed as theirs. don't download if you support Retro's work (confirmed by Retro that dstt team stole his fixes)" i meant these people jhon :)

anyways im a total nub at this. how do i go about updating it. dont want to make a mistake and flush all my hardwork saves down the drain. im using r4 III upgrade by the way which is a clone.

i think you misunderstood. what i'm trying to say is i want to change from 6.40 to 6.42. but i didnt see golden sun from the list of fixed games. will it still work after i change to 6.42? and to change to 6.42, do i just copy and save ttmenu folder and YSMenu.nds just like when i copied it the first time?

sorry to sound so confusing. as i've said before im a total noob at this. i'm a noob noob if i do say so myself :)

Golden sun (E) is working fine with v6.42 on my R4 original with YSMenu - dstt for r4's

It is how you setup the firmware - normly it's just to keep your original firmware and replace from the new ttmenu folder extinfo/infolib/savelib/r4patch.dat from one ttmenu folder to the over that's your ttmenu folder

Retro will not downgrade - it may have bean mentiond on his last list and not the new

GameID BO5P (E) rom and BO5E (U) rom is in the new extinfo.dat file!

use ysmenu for r4 clones. dont erase your cards firmware since ysmenu runs as a game

If I use that, it says 6.40 at the bottom. Is that a mistake?

Yes I downloaded the 'for clones' from the front page, copied the TTMenu folder and YSmenu.nds to the root of my card, and renamed YSmenu.nds as DEFAULT.nds so that it would load automatically when I start my R4

Yeah, getting a bunch of white screens. Early games work like Mario Party DS, but newer games like Golden Sun, or Sonic Colors do not.

I've tried the first link the R4(i) SDHC, and that seems to work for Golden Sun (Not Sonic) And it says 6.42 at the bottom, though I'm not sure if it's actually updating it.
