I already decrypted it. I also found a prepatched rom. I tried everything and it's not working perfectly, lots of bugs and freezes.

Sorry, but how many times do I have to tell that I already decrypted the rom. It is working, but not working perfectly. I keep having this green screen when I press the Y button, and some needs refuse to go up. I am hopeful that this v6.36 already have a fix for Sims 3.

Lol!! I tried Sims 3. Oh wow, the Y button is now working, but the R button makes the whole game freeze! That R button freeze happens randomly. Fun and Social Needs still refuses to go up. Hahah I thought it was a fix already! What is this crap, is this some kind of a joke? LoL. Can someone please try Sims 3 if they're having the same problem... Thanks!

Yo bro, can you try out Sims 3? Is it just me or the fix is still not fixed?

EDIT: I deleted my save file and created a new one but to no avail. Based on my own observations as of Retro's v6.36 (sims 3 not fully fixed), the AP kicks in when you create your own Sim. Once you move out to your new place, Fun and Social needs will always refuse to go up. If you don't create your own Sim and just move to a new place (for example, you choose Goth), the game will run smoothly. I do hope Retro sees this and fix sims 3 before he'll release v6.37 (he's fast, I'm sure he will release it soon anyway!).

Hi there,

Just got a quick question- with the premade R4 SDHC with YSMenu package that's in the first post, do you just put all those files onto the flashcard as they are, replacing the existing files?

And also, if I don't want YSMenu to be the default firmware, do I just change the files that say DEFAULT.nds and DEFAULT.sav to YSMenu.nds and .sav?

premade only works with r4 sdhc. and about ysmenu as default firmware, just change the name and that should do it

Oh yeah, I have a R4 SDHC xD Forgot to mention that.

Sweet. I'll rename those default files and give it a try.

Oh one more thing! I have a few games with unfinished saves- do I need to convert those files to anything new so that they work on the new firmware? Or should I finish them off first before I install YSMenu?

just make sure your save files have extension .sav and they will work
