TTMenu/YSMenu For TTDS(i)/R4(i) SDHC/R4(i) Clones/M3(i)/DSONE(i)

    hi all!

    I tried to get gyakuten kenji 2 to work.. but Im getting a white screen when I load up :(

    All I did was this:

    "Over-Ride DAT's extinfo.dat/infolib.dat/savlib.dat/usrcheat.dat
    into the TTMenu folder of either DSTT/YSMenu R4's - Are any of RGF ttmenu folders."

    All my other old games work fine, except this new gyakuten kenji 2..

    Appreciate any advice!!

    I assume this is the fan translated gyakuten kenji 2 you're talking about? Well, if you've downloaded it fully and it works on a PC emulator. Then the rom isn't faulty. So what you could try do (given you're using YSMENU because it works on your cartridge brand);
    1. Delete existing gyakuten kenji save file from the SD Micro
    2. Don't active any cheats for that game (at least for now)
    3. Download 'enDcryptS advance' (use Google to find the program)
    4. After you've extracted the program, place a copy of the rom (keep original elsewhere) and perform the encrypt-decrypt (make sure your end
    result is a decrypted rom) ... press the appropriate number as shown in the program window! You'd probably need to run the program in
    Admin mode.
    5. Now try to play the game via your YSMENU. It probably should work by now.

    Alternatively, try this one;

    1. Copy your SD Micro files to your computer
    2. Full format your SD Micro, and then return all the SD Micro files back to the SD Card
    3. Try playing the rom again via YSMENU.

    If these doesn't help. I'm not sure what will, since updating your DAT files using Jhon's copy should have made your YSMENU up to date already to run any rom up to the latest release number.

    Hi there, 5929 Tinker Bell - 2 Disney Games no longer work. First game always takes you to fortune telling even if you select "play". Second game "Lost Treasures" gives blank screen. Can some please offer up a fix? Thanks!!

    What's your flash cartridge full name?
    Is it running YSMENU/TTMENU? If yes, what version?

    Since you said "NO LONGER WORK", that implies to say it was working before but now it isn't. In which case, try deleting the save file, it might be corrupted.

    If assuming you had posted this matter in the correct topic (since currently I don't know if yours is one running TTMENU/YSMENU or not). If the TTMENU/YSMENU hasn't been updated in quite a while, do update it using Jhon 591's files; download: https://mega.co.nz/#!MEIFDLJA!daDfAeSlr3d1Cxh6iT0G9V6EnyoM_ eAQ-82YIdy-XRc (taken from Jhon 591's post #3522)
    Copy these 3 dat files 'extinfo.dat, infolib.dat, and savlib.dat' from his package, copy and overwrite the same files found in your SD Micro under the TTMENU FOLDER. That should update your TTMENU/YSMENU to the current latest version.

    If your flash cartridge isn't running TTMENU/YSMENU, do make an independent topic under the FLASHCART SECTION. State the name of your flash cartridge (if possible provide photo image) and mention the problem again. And don't try to attempt to install TTMENU/YSMENU yet until someone in the forum can identify if it can run any secondary firmware or not.

    for home designer , just seams some of that arm7 go into the 0x0239 area, rgf knows on how this is worked out.

    Thanks for your help Prectorian. I'm running TTMENU V1.18.

    Took your advise and deleted the sav file, also updated the 4 dat files with Jhon's latest May 28, 2014 update but still having the same issues on my 5929 Tinker Bell - 2 Disney Games no longer work. First game always takes you to fortune telling even if you select "play". Second game "Lost Treasures" gives blank screen.

    It worked a while back before I updated to to newer dat files - don't recall how long ago that was...

    If you read this. Could you see to it? Seems to me, he's facing AP kicking in on an already fixed DAT.
    Any suggestion from you? Would decrypt-encrypt using eNDcrypS help? Or is the Game ID set to default (0000000) causing the problem?

    @ Slant,

    Allow time for Jhon to check the DAT against that rom offsets. Mean time, I hope you had not activated any cheat codes for that game when test running it on new DAT files.

    No idea, but can redownlaod the game and try it on my R4 original with ysmenu .

    See if same issues happens are not, if not maybe the flashcard it self are slow micro SD chip.

    The way he explained the issue, it seems like AP kicking in. When it shouldn't. Maybe other factors at play in this case. Or yes, maybe the SD Micro needs formatting to remove fragmented deleted files. Not entirely sure. Technical issues like this is your domain.

    I made an error with that game when doing an address update on all games with AP.

    Change data for B6KP in extinfo to :
    0x020009F8
    89 EE 0F EA

    and the game will work once again
