    Thread moved to the main flash cart section, since it doesn't just apply to DSTT users, and it's popular/important software for users with unsupported carts (which is quite common) so it should be more visible.

    May freeze using certain Micro SD cards.

    Hello,

    I have two linkers, an old one from ndsill.net (R4i v1.6, no 3DS label on it) and a new one from r4i-yes.com (v1.6, 3DS label available).
    I have two questions:
    1- Since i have a DSI and a 3DS, can you tell me which linker to put in each console?
    2- Which version of TTmenu or YSmenu do i have to choose for each linker ?

    I hope i'm not asking something that is already answered.

    For no.1, I believe you'd answered it yourself. Of cause you use the cart that has '3ds' labeled on it on the 3ds. The one without the label surely won't work on that console.

    For no.2, it depends. Why don't you check page 1, open the 'compatibility list' spoiler dropdown list and see if any of your cart is mentioned there. If there is, then you'll know which to use. If it isn't then most likely it isn't supported. Or you could go by trial and error by attempting to add the folder labeled as 'R4 SDHC' from the download package. But make sure to back up SD Micro first, because you might get error if your cart isn't listed in the compatibility list. Just so you know, both your cart are clones that are more than likely to be of poor after sales support. So it won't be surprising if it's gaming compatibility isn't good.

    I'm getting a rom loading failed - load rom errcode =-4 with 6168 The Croods ... I'll try copying onto the SD card again.

    Try replacing your 'extinfo.dat, infolib.dat, and savlib.dat' found in your TTMENU folder with Jhon 591's version : http://uploadmirrors.com/download/0HVOKJZC/DAT_s_v6169.rar, it's a recently updated version of RGF's v.6.98 file.

    Edit:
    But if you'd tried using the croods - 6170, the offset isn't available yet in the 3 dats. Must wait until Jhon 591 or RGF add them.
    So meantime, play the 6168 USA version.

    Do check that you've downloaded rom 6168 (U) instead of 6170 (E). Rom 6170 hasn't been added to current r6169's extinfo.dat and infolib.dat. Must wait until RGF or Jhon 591 update their files again. But I've not seen Jhon 591 since yesterday. Not sure if he's temporarily busy.

    Also if you'd been using 6168 and had updated those dats to 6169, you might want to consider backing up SD Micro content to computer, soft-format the SD Micro, return all backed up files to SD Micro, and try again to load the rom.

    I think he means 6170 EUR, but ROM archives here are all back numbed by minus 2 as 6168 so this is Eur in this sites archives of ROM's.

    Here USA is 6166 downlaod section +2 is 6168 in NDS share section.

    Glad to hear, welcome enjoy your game :)

    It happend long ago, they was some confusion in scene numbering as two games where thought to be nuked and where not, they nether sorted the FTP since and nether fixed the two missing games, I had no controll at the time for ftp.

    They are that many to go back and sort, so xen decided to leave as it was.

    Just rename ROM by plus 2 ;) That simple, mostly from 5500 + be for this where fine as is.
