Hey guys,

I've been trying to play Professor Layton and the Last Specter with a R4 SDHC and there's a problem... I can't play London Life, it just shows me a white screen.

Anyone with the same problem? And anyone who has already solved it?

I'm sorry if I don't know the protocol around here and where to post or not... but I've already tried there, and unfortunately no one knew how to help me... I thought since you guys post updates here, it would be a good place to ask.

You have R4i SDHC are R4 SDHC ?

If you get the lastest firmware from your site, they should be no resion for the pre-patched ROM not to work, Unless the firmware has an issue.

Normal R4 as in R4 Revolution

It's just a R4 SDHC, and it already has the latest firmware.

I've tried with the pre-patched Rom, and with the Patched Rom... and London life doesn't work in neither of them.

But I'll try the rom Akane suggested and see if it works

Formating the microSD chip worked for someone with white screens on london life, Maybe it's woth a try.

Yeah, the new rom didn't work...

Going to try formating it, and I'll say if it solved the problem.

I've been searching around, and it seems to be a common problem with R4s.

Very sorry to hear.

R4i SDHC = MicroSD SDHC chips
R4 = MicroSD chips

R4i SDHC = normal MicroSD chips will not work well, only SDHC microSD will work well

And you even used RGF muiti cart firmware, very strange.

Hello,

Hate being a noob, but also hate to upset my girlfriend, so... here it goes!

Trying to get Harvest Moon - Tale of Two worlds working on R4SDHC from r4sdhc.com/down.asp kernel v1.34

Since I am not this good with all these terms yet, I was wondering if you can point me in the right direction, as to what I would do to accomplish that. I have tried using the contents from the R4SDHC folder in your download, but my DS wont even boot (stuck at loading screen). Same happened when I tried manually install YSmenu.

Without YSmenu, the game is stuck on white screen, and with running Pandora.nds on the DS, i get err=4.

Any hints in the right direction is appreciated!

Also, I deeply apologize if this has already been asked a million times. After work, I simply couldn't look at all posts from 2010!

for it to work you have to keep kernel 1.34 and than add the content of the clone cart folder. than run ysmenu as if it were a game

Thank You! It did work, in terms of my firmware actually booting up, and then YSmenu.nds booting successfully. I even went as far as trying to load the game; however, this was thrown at me with mighty force:

[Rom loading failed]
r4dldi.dat error!

Please reset system.

Is there an alternative dldi i should be using?

Edit: Got it!!! Thanks for all your help! I just had to copy files from TTMenu to _system_ ! Everybody (myself and girlfriend) are now happy! =D Kudos to everyone who spends their time helping noobs like me! Thanks iluvfupaburgers !

I edited my previous message =) I got it working! (googled the error and stumbled upon a screenshot that showed folder structure for the YSmenu on R4SDHC. Noticed that ysmenu bmps were in _system_ folder.)

So instead of copying the files like this:
_PATCH
_system_
Games
moonmemo
moonshl2
TTMenu
ysmenu.nds

I had to move files from TTMenu to _system_, and overwrite all files. Not sure if what I did is right, but it got the game working!

Hi this time I have a other weird problem with my r4sdhc. When I'm using ysmenu to play kirby mass attack it works great. But when I try to play 999 (9 persons 9 hours 9 doors) it gets a black screen. I've tryed a few things like format instal 1.34 firmware then fromat it again first format then put ysmenu etc. (Its quite a mess what i have done ) But than I get stuck on the loading screen wirh the error save file is not founed please reset your system. So what I have to do to fix this problem?
