well, the gui for which flash cart? R4 , TTDS , cyclo, M3 just to name a few
details help....like symptoms and such

So, I have a working ROM now of Soul Silver, translated all of that, but it freezes every 7 minutes. If I get the patch to fix this problem will I have to start over completely?

What I mean is will it just flat out overwrite the original rom i have?

 

what are you playing this on? what firmware?

 

Why the names of the pokemons in v6 are in japanese

 

Either....

1. He didnt have enough time to translate +490 names....

Magnius says I need a clean Pokemon Soul Silver ROM To Patch it with his.

I mean how can we use His Patch with this patch at the same ROM?

Yes,

Version 6 only patched the Important Menus, Items And Stuff.
Not Dialogue text.

But I think if you want Dialogue text you better download Magnius's Patch.
But I still dont know how to patch Magnius's Patch with the Prepatched V6 Rom..

Hey guys, I've been working on this for a while guess it's about time I finally spoke up.

I'm trying to run SS Patched on the M3i, Sakura Firmware v1.35. Game runs fine, no freezing that I can see etc...but when I try to save it stops, music still plays and what not. I heard something about the Patched version not running on the Sakura or M3i...can anyone confirm...

I recently tried the Anti-Piracy + Translation Post-Patch that's provided in the first post for Soul Silver. And it didn't work...help is appreciated.

Well, first thing's first;
Seph's right; You CANNOT patch a rom with more than 1 translation patch at a time.

Also, clone cards have a tendency to NOT work with patched or fixed roms, they also have a tendency to not work at all-this be a 'quality' issue, as some cards are too crappily made. That, or the cardmakers are constantly using random quality parts to make their crap. Your best bet is to not use cards that cost less than a happy meal.


[Omega_2 is using an AceKard2 with AKAIO 1.5 FW and Supercard DSONEi, not even bothering with the r4 thats somewhere...]

 

Oh ok. How About this:
I put a KazoWar Patched ROM into my flashcart and name it "KazoSS.nds".
Then Put a Magnius Patched Rom into my flashcart named "MagniusSS.nds".

And If I have a save, I could change the names of the save to the roms so I could use them 1 at a time.

For Example:
If I want to have KazoWar's Patch, I will name My SAV "KazoSS.sav"
and if I want Magnius Patch, I will name my SAV "MagniusSS.sav"

Will that work?

Cause I have already tried it with Platinum (JAP Translated to Eng)

Yeah it worked when I tried it.
Just Switch the name of the SAV to play on any patch.

 

Well, I had it working, wanted the V3 translation instead of the V2, now i lost my save file and I have to start over again
