Translation Information and Download

Will the prepatched versions be available for the US versions? I wanna start playing it when it comes out in Aus.

 

What is the point of making a English translation patch for the American ROMs?

 

What I meant was, will there be prepatched US roms? Sorry for the misunderstanding.

 

RomU does not host patched roms; that's for you to do, or in this forum. And before anyone starts, If the (J) version didn't work on your clone/fake/ripoff 'r4', it will have the SAME, if not more problems
That said, my supercard will be able to run this just fine, as will the AceKard2 and CycloDS

guys i got an R4 on v1.18 when i try to play the game after awhile the game freezes but the background music keeps playing i know its a piracy check or sumthing is there (or goin to be) a patch for this issue??? i waited sooooo long for this game just to get my eyes watered down by awsome lugia in all its 3D glory just to see (like always) something had to go wrong XD (funny...same thing happened to me and FF13 on hacked 360 i get the disk 1 and when i try to play it i get the "please update" problem.... QQ )

....you DO realize that if the other LOCKED thread's FIRST PAGE of info doesn't have the solution, your card will NOT be able to play it.
these clones and fakes are too numerous to be liked by people with MINDS; it'd be like trying to like furby again >_>
Get a REAL cart, not something you can basically buy in a dollar store, put that r4 back into it's box and put it away where you won't be tempted to look at it again.
Remember, if it costs LESS than a happy meal, you didn't even try to look for a cart.

i wonder if this is possible.
but since the japanese rom is working properly,is it possible to just copy the important english parts (dialogs,story,names,items,etc) from US version to the japanese one?so that we can finally understand everything on the game.
i think its possible but i have no idea how to do it.

If you mean HG/SS (U), then sort of.
AceKard2 running AKAIO firmware version 1.6(beta) gets around the freezing(my brother hasn't mentioned about freezing since I updated it 2 days ago)

http://www.r4sdhc.com/soft/33-en.htm Try this to fix Pokemon GH/SS on R4. Download the 1.26 firmware(You won't need it but the DS_PATCH.nds). Drag the DS_PATCH.nds to the root of your microSD, and boot up your R4. Load DS_PATCH.nds and open Pokemon Gold Heart or Pokemon Soul Silver. My game hasn't frozen for two hours so I think this works!

LOL, it's not going to fix the game. It's only extending the time before the game freezes. It's weird how I've been on RomUlation for about 2-3 years and I never posted anything.

 

The 'fix' only works for the cards that are copies of THAT fake card, not the other 30 something r4's
