To me best RPG on DS are :
1- Tales of Hearts
2- Suikoden Tierkreis
3- Soma Bringer
4- Xenosaga I&II
5- Sands of Destruction
6- Glory of Heracles
7- Luminous Arc

 

Sigh 2 great games on your list that I wish I could play (wish i knew japanese :'(

 

Patch translation for both are on going, also there a good guide for Tales of Hearts on gamefaq that help to understand the story.

 

i know but in the back of my mind i always know that they arn't complete and that bugs me away from playing half patched games :/

 

Nice list. I've played The World Ends With You and I don't know why but I put it down (I used to like that game) I'll have a go at uh... Suik...uh...Suiko...uh...Suikohden Tier...uh...Tierkrayis...uh I don't know I'll let the announcer say it.

Pretty cool video, try Final Fantasy IV atm, never played a Final Fantasy game before.

Etrain Odyssey and Atelier Annie are both good RPG.

 

maybe before I'm not be clearly
I like etrian and atelier Annie too...
but they are a bit different of the usually
concept of RPG
(if someone of you tried "knights in the nightmare", for example)

however
if this list may include
GBA games
I think that in a higher position
there will be
"Yggdra Union - We'll never fight alone"
that I think it was a "totally" tactical RPG

Suidoken teirkreis needed to have a higher place!

 

Yeah , I also think so, Suidoken Teirkreis is excellent!

I just found the beads/ necklace for those little sea people...

The only big negative is the voice acting, done really really badly. But still one of the best games on my DS.

 

I find the voice acting done well!
