timeout error when posting?

My browser's always set to "private" so it doesn't take any history and auto-clears cookies every time I close it. I close and open windows often too. I've only gotten it once, so it seems it's just a wheel of misfortune.

 

I also have mine set to forever. It seems to have happened a lot more often the past week than ever before though. I've had it happened four times total in the last week. And maybe 10-15 times total the whole time I've used Romulation. So it doesn't happen very often (at least, for me).

 

I'm here in the morning now, since sunday I'm free, so ask if it can be a problem of "overheat", like if many users posting are causing trouble to the server or something like that, not that the server can't stand it, but with some unknow error it makes it think that it's too much for it.

 

I do not believe it to be an issue of overheating, though you do bring up a good point.
It could be an issue of timing being off, as you are supposed to time out if you don't post within xx minutes.
Just make a note of it, how many times it happens, and if it happens more than 2-4 times, daily.
Between Seph and Loony, I doubt it will remain this way for long.

 

Strangelly this only happened one time today for me, but yesterday was impossible, was like 6 in 10 posts I did.

 

I'm getting this more frequently now. It isn't annoying, but it has happened 4 times in a row now in the past 5 minutes.

And it just happened again.

 

Press refresh everytime it happens or just re-log in ;D

The way you described this issue made it sound like a bad itch or an allergy

 

I attributed it to hormones. It will eventually get rid of the pimples and zits.

Me neither, best guess is it really was just a phase the site was going through.
I hope it was, either that or we need to call Ghostbusters.
