Just remember - make sure you're getting the right card for your system. The Acekard2i is for the DSi. Not sure if we can mention websites that sell flash cards without getting a warning, but dealextreme.com has every flash card I've heard of, at really cheap prices. Shipping is also free. Not sure how fast the shipping will be to Portugal, but I got stuff from there in around 10-14 days. They also replace fake/non-working cards, should you end up with one. Their forums posters will help you to confirm your card if you take pictures of it. I ordered my DSTT from there - it's the cheapest card out, but I've had 100% compatibility on games, even though the firmware is about seven months old now. It also accepts SDHC micro SD cards, meaning you can get nice load speeds on your games. I got a 4 gig card for $10, & it holds 55 games, plus a SNES & Genesis emulator with a handful of games each. It has cheat software built in, & inputting a cheat is way simple - you don't have to edit the cheat file on your computer, like with some cards, you just do it straight from the card's game menu. All the games with multiplayer I've tried transmit to DS's with & without the real game card. Some people have complained about the flimsiness of the DSTT, but it feels like & fits in your Slot 1 like a regular DS card, & does not have the spring-action on the micro SD slot that's prone to breaking. For less than $6, it's an awesome card.
Okay. So here's a quick advice when you're going to buy a NDSL. 1) If you're a fan of Guitar Hero, then go buy the NDSLite, but if you just want to take pictures, videos, play music etc... Then go buy the NDSi. 2) There are lots of flashcarts for the NDSLite. Get the CycloDS or EDGE Cart. They're pretty much the same but EDGE is much cheaper. AceKard2i is for the NDSi, you can still play games and store it in the memory card like the old NDSL does. 3) Download games here. "www.romulation.net". Games are free of charge. 4) Go to "www.ndsthemes.com" for themes. - There are lots of fun games for the DS so the best thing is to look it up here and search it on www.youtube.com for reviews and gameplay. - You can also check upcoming games on www.gamefaqs.com. Buzz me up if you want to know more.
yes it does, since you need a DSL to update the acekard for your DSI.... i bought my cards at r4-card.com
well i dunno why the dsi is for suckers, since it is more advanced..... i dunno why everybody seems to hate the dsi... i got both dsi and dsl and both of them have their disadvantages.... i like the bigger screen and the design, and if i ever wanna play a gba game i stick it in my ngc gba or dsl....
I think I'll buy the DS Lite since it's cheaper and being able to play gba games is a plus to me. Just a question though, is it possible to see videos in the DS lite too right? (with the right flashcard) I have a 4gb sd card or whatever the name laying around doing nothing so thought I'd use it.
DS Lite with TTDS Dont get a DS (phat) because their old and bulky Dont get a DSi because it's not worth it...
