lunatic pandora is past this event so you have the ragnarok at that stage, which is the very very end of disc 3 where seifer kills odin.

my virtual memory card save died on disc 3 also...twice, one right by lunatic pandora getting Doomtrain, and the other just before getting Combat King 005.

i find it that if you save at your dormitory or inside the ragnarok, the save fries.

i have learned to save on the world map.
