I steal your [insert equivalent of "soul" here]!!!!

 

I steal your time machine, go back in time and steal your brain, so you never get the idea to steal my soul.

 

I steal your ability to deny me my ability to devour your soul.

 

I get someone else to steal it back =)

 

I steal your physical body so I can use it to form my own material self.

 

Then, as a soul, I come up with an amazing plan and steal it back.

 

I steal your chance at that because your body has already been destroyed so my physical self can manifest in the Material Plane.

 

That was just one of my many spare bodies, so I'm covered.
