Yes it was horrible. I've got every expansion set (so not every accessories set, gave up on buying them) and the only one that I liked is Open for Business. To come of the Sims 2, I didn't play the PC game since ages. Only the GC game, last time. But if the Sims 3 will come to the normal DS it will be horrible quality. No doubts.
I only ever played the GBA SIMs ports & I have to admit, they were fun, simply because there was a major plot/story to follow. I did try out a few SIMs games on the DS on no$gba & it really felt awkward as I had to use a mouse to emulate the stylus AND use a control pad for the d-pad which is very difficult for a left-handed person trained to play on a right-handed pad. Those are technically Mayoral or head of a company controlling games as you only build & keep your city or other building's reputation levels. The SIMs is more of a God game as you can intervene with your SIMs' lives in a more direct way. As for the SIMs 3 on the PC, I'm just disappointed they took out my favorite SIM-monster form, the Vampie SIM & replaced it with the Stupid Muumy SIM
The sims isn't as much fun, you don't have time to do everything and it becomes stressful, especially when you have a baby. IRL having a baby is much easier they sleep a lot and you have plenty of time to do things.
I loved the sims on PC...I have 3 for the PC which is okay, but I'm looking forward to the DS version. sims 2 on DS was okay at best, but a lot of people wrote off Urbz for the DS, which I found quite enjoyable and I thought it looked good too. I've heard a few details about the handheld version and it's sounding pretty promising to me.
for the Sims 3, there is an expansion pack call late night, it let your sims become a manipulative vampire (you can actually brainwash other sims to lure he or she to your and sucks his or hers blood XD)
Oh cool! According to this Wikipedia Article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sims_3 The Late Night Expansion pack will be launched on: * NA October 26, 2010 * EU October 30, 2010 Just in Time for Halloween, sweet!
The Sims 2 Nightlife gives you the ability to become a vampire too. You can then transform it into a bat to quickly navigate. Also you can bite people. The Sims 2 Our for Business gives you the ability to boot up a robot, which will be added to the family. You can control it then but whatever you do, don't let it go into a swimming pool for too long or else it is gonna go weird. I know a cheat in the game that allows you to do both.
Would be great in this game if when you have a job, that you go do the job, not that just go to work and you take control of a nearest sucker sim.
I have all of SIMs 2's expansion packs up to Apartment life & the cheat you're referring to is kinda risky to use as it can seriuosly mess your game up. The aforementioned code is the "BoolProp testingCheatsEnabled True" code & I too used it to make my SIM (my avatar) into a Vampire Warlock that never dies even if he's exposed to sunlight.
Yes that code. without caps it works too, though. And yes I pretty messed up my game with it sometimes. Though I mostly use it to do things I can't really do without.
Ugh... what's to like about these games? I played it on the PC once, it bored the living shit out of me!
I'm interested... The only reason I am is because I like Sims on consoles... AND SIMS 3 DOESN'T WORK ON MY COMPUTER!!!! D: Sims 3 PC not compatible with your technology is the only reason why anyone would use Sims on a console. The end.
you just arent the type who like to play god. sims player is like zeus, we create mortal (the sims) and then pamper them to success then, torture them to dead XD
they can't just decide to not release the games for the regular DS...not everyone is going to be getting the 3DS, indeed not everyone will have the physical ability to even use the 3DS. and considering there is a function on it to turn off the 3D effect, that means the games they release should theoretically be coming out for the normal systems as well.
Lolno, it's completely new hardware. Have you actually seen any of the games on it? the ds/dsi isn't capable of running/porting them. You can still expect ds games after the 3ds's release though... lots and lots of shovelware.
It's cause your PC's hardware is lower than the game's requeriment. A upgrade solve this, some PCs...it's like worst than a PlayStation 2's hardware, so don't expect much of it if it's weak.
In my case, I like the game because I can make a me who isn't hampered by any disability. In the games, I (my avatar) can drive a car, something I can never do because of my vision impairment. I can deep fry stuff, I can't deep fat fry stuff in real life as to do stuff I have to have my face close to whatever it is I'm doing in order to see. Can you just imagine me putting my face near hot fat as it bubbles & boils around? I treat the game as a step closer to being "The Matrix", so until that time, the SIMs games will suffice. Also, the day they add a customization option where you can make your SIM/s blind, deaf, crippled or mentally handicapped is the day I'll curse the game. I mean, I've been living a not so normal life all my life & now you'll make me play a game where my avatar is exactly who I am in the real world!? The hell with that
Lol. Once me and my sister played the sims. We built a house that was basically just a wall. There was only one wall and everything was in view with the street. We made a kid cook and a fire started. We sent him to put out the fire but he died and then made the rest of the family put it out one by one and they all died.
