    The lens flare is actually kinda intrusive upon the render in that example sig.

    Here's the SUPER COMPREHENSIVE gude to making my sig.

    Step 1: Paste picture. (I took it. :p)

    Step 2: Place text. Overlay filter.

    Step 3: Make border.
    [​IMG]

    I tried experimenting a little with this, seeing what I could do.
    Any ideas how I could improve the smear though over the text?
    And any other possible improvements!

    To be honest it's so distorted I can hardly make anything out except for Iron Man's face. Not to mention your render still isn't blended.

    No worries. It's usually best to use a smaller canvas too, or you risk having too much empty space or making your render too big. Follow some tuts, see how you go. Also remember that your render shouldn't be the whole sig. It's how the background and effects blend with the sig.
