    It looks like Duplicate Text > Rasterize > Guassian Blur - 5 pixels > Mosaic > Set to Soft Light.

    This of course is no help to a GIMP user.

    Rasterize always makes me giggle, who came up with that name? xD

    And for that square behind text thing you add a layer, do the squares, add a layer and do the text and then blend them so the squares are behind and around it

    I believe GIMP has those functions. I'd have to look. Since it's been a while since I've done a signature.

    Thanks for the feedback, but i forgot to save a file with all the layers seperate so i can't really do anything about it. :p

    EDIT: I noticed the Ulation bit is still hard to read but i'm to lazy to change it at the momment because i have 3 R4's to set up for my friends.

    Without sounding too big headed, I was diliberately being obtuse. It didn't look dark on my laptop when I made it, but when I hosted it on a PC, i noticed that it looked very dark.

    Then you may want to calibrate your monitor. Can you do that on a laptop?
