    I made 3 new ones :D
    Which was not just copy and paste, I used many effects, I ripped from videos and games, the TF2 background was all me and the Pokémon had used one fractral which isn't mine but I used many effects and changed it alot so it has skill, so to what equitypetey said in CB12's portfolio, I win.
    And yes I made the sexy sparkles!

    @cjdogger

    You can't do text, I wouldn't recommend trying it til' you master basics. TBH, it looks really bad. Take a look at some blending tutorials and start blending those renders.

    And I didn't think I got that good I could move up to photoshop now. I figured I was still kind of basic... :)

    i've thought it for a while as it seems the imagery you produce is good and could do with the extra abilities you can gain from PS

    There's no stage where you move on to CS, the longer you spend time on something else the harder it will be to adapt to CS, only natural.
    I started on CS and never used anything else, exept for trying the others to see what the fuss was about.
    Naturally that dosen't include 3DsMax, Bryce, C4D and Maya, those I used quite a lot.

    Thanks for the compliment. I've been looking at a few youtube tutorials lately to do new things with the signatures I've come up with. Just sometimes when I begin to learn something new, something different comes up and I'm like, "Oh, wow, maybe I could try that."

    That's true, more practice and things become natural. But sometimes I don't always feel like I need a ton do-dads, gimmicks and the like to achieve the same results.

    Your welcome. I actually found that site while visiting a gimp fansite forum. They have a lot of tutorials there.

    Ima critiquing the one above me.

    First of all, if your planning on becoming good at sig making, never take the render off the work. It most simply doesn't work.

    Next, your flow needs major work. Right now its nothing but a big mess.

    This is flow:

    I assume you don't know the Rule Of Thirds?
    http://digital-photography-school.com/rule-of-thirds

    What you might wana try doing is making your signature bigger then applying the rule of thirds to find the best way to make it look.

    When choosing your colors, remember not to make them clash. A nice way to do that is by looking at the following chart.
    [IMG]
    If the colors are next to each other, they normally harmonize with each other.

    I'll add some more later..

    Hopefully you'll take my advice and not bitch about me not complimenting your art...

    Re: The Signature Thread

    It was mainly because when ever I went on this site, I was half asleep. All my criticism is normally like that.

    Anyways. Usoppu, your render is LQ and the render is also just randomly floating.

    When your doing anything, make sure they are on something. That probably didn't make much sense but what I recommend is that you always keep the bottom of the render, not visible. Its the easiest way to keep your render from 'flying'.

    Next, there is no depth. Always add some lighting to give it some depth. It looks really flat at the moment and could do with some third dimension.

    The logo on the top right just doesn't fit in. Its kinda just flung on there.

    A personal comment here, I hate those colors, but thats just me. Some people might like them :/

    Jevejo777, much better with the depth. The render is not LQ and the colors are much better. One problem I see though is that the colors in the corner, the reds, they don't really fit in. They're kinda clashing.

    The render has a shadow thing around the bottom, going back to the comment above;
    You're doing much better though, keep it up.
