way that looks alot better now i don't have to do damage to my eye trying to look at it

looks good but the white border is hard to see maybe just give it a thin black stroke so it stands out a bit more also i think the render should be behind the border

hey head, i think its TOO big now but looks great, the pic looks very clear and cool... I think the border would look better being black.. but still, keep the work up man

Lighting is easy, I just go to contrast and change it from 50 to whatever I feel like, but I don't advise changing it much

I don't know about blending, I think I shall download the blending plug-in for paint.net...

Ah, Yeah, this is the first forum Ive been on where Sigs are disabled by default..unless I checked that box by mistake.

lol. quite good. ^^

thought the cutout seems a bit...err.. jaggy? and the background a bit too much though. it take the attention that the character need.

That render is pixelated as, looks like youve just used extract or the magic wand tool, and the outer glow with a drop shadow...?

That BG is also pretty horrible, by the looks of it you ruined a perfectly good fractal by applying either invert, hue and sat or brightness/contrast, or perhaps all three

I'm not gonna rip ya... So yeah it looks nice, I love the colours and background though the render of the person kinda get's in the way...
