@romz_mark: I did make the background myself, bu for the render I used the character simulator from ratemyserver.net. It has lots of information for Ragnarok Online users and to fine new/old private servers to play on.

@equipypetey: I thank you for the critique, whether it be good or bad. I can say the render does not blend in because those are the actual colors he uses in the game. ;)

You are also right about just sticking the render on the background, I was tired...lol, bad excuse but in truth I was. I will remember for next time to use one or several of the techniques you have suggested for the next signature I can come up with. ;D

    Re: The Signature Thread

I'm having artistic block to do sigs now...UGH!!!!!!!! Plus, I need a different site other than planet renders cause most of the sigs are doubles or they just don't give me that urge to make a good sig.

I will be doing Witch of Immolation and Mavi...I think Mavi is cute. Then again, I like the strong female type of characters.

that looks really good you are defiantly getting better but i do have to criticize whats going on with the border at the side, it kind of spoils it a bit

yeah, the border should be fixed a bit, but other than that, Youre greatly improving Mishy! I love how "Mishy" is on the slant by the side of the graphic... its really cool

    Re: The Signature Thread

I wanted to try the rounded rectangle technique for the border but, it wasn't coming out the way I wanted. I didn't like the way the full border looked around it because the right side of the gradient I used is black, so you wouldn't really notice it...So, I did the border and lowered the opacity to about 50% I think believe. And I had worked on that sig for like 2 hours...Doesn't appear that way, but I was getting frustrated and had to keep starting over. But I'm happy I am getting better. I found a forum that has a ton of tutorials for Gimp users. It helped me so much. :D

GIMP is perfectly capable of producing professional work; it is not inferior to photoshop.

Well, GIMP isn't hard to use once you begin to learn the techniques. That's why googled for GIMP tutorials http://www.gimptalk.com/forum/.

    It helped a lot.
