    There is 130 different sprite sheets... and wii!! There is 2 Thief sheets and both haves your dodge^^
    I'm looking foward to see your work [I love Fire Emblem series^^ and mostly thiefs/assassins]

    Yeah... It's really painfully to do anything without layers and maybe even impossible to do professional looking sigs [okay... Maybe simple manipulation is okay to do with that one layer._.]

    I have never done anything in photoshop, no matter how small, with less than 3 layers.

    I have some... Those are just fastly done avatar for msn messenger^^
    but normaly I use least 15 layers maybe.

    Uh get your own renders, or get pictures, then for easy just use a select tool or fuzzy tool and hit delete to make the background transparent, if that doesn't work (pixels and such) use the Rubber tool and rub it out yourself, which is a lot harder.

    weeeeeeeeee... thanks tiklu... i dont know if your gonna like it... it would be pretty newbie considering it will be my first... ^^

    and i read somewhere that almo made a sig... it was red and had a stealth bomber in it i think... somewhere there he said he made his smoke effects with his own pile of brushes... do i need to download those too for effects? or i mean do i need to download effects too?

    wow... so many questions... >.< just goes to show how new i am at this...

    Do you use GIMP AJ? If so can you give me tips on really how to use the fuzzy tool. Because sometimes it takes colors from the render I'm making and messes it up. And the "select tool" for gimp at rendering is the Path tool. If you can tell anything better than that it would be most helpful.

    I use GIMP and Paint.Net, but I'm currently downloading Photoshop still, so I should become good at that eventually, hopefully. That's probably because of the pixels, maybe an opening of pixels, or a transparent pixel coloured.

    now i know why you use renders and not wallpapers... hell that was hard... T_T

    anyway... anandjones how did you get the bloody layer? did you download it? and the backgrounds too?

    the bloody layer looks like it was a wallpaper or poster of some sort that has just been put underneath the people renders. Though the same effect could easily be done with a brush.

    You know I didn't make it right? I don't think a sig of this quality could be made with Paint.net or GIMP. Courtesy of Equitypetey.

    I had the Taki render as a paintbrush, I changed the opacity...(lower the color filter to make it like that. Also, I made a transparent layer and stuck it under so you could see it.)

    nope... some of us(them) use gimp...

    i found a book... grokking the gimp? but no good.. it was for only version 1.4 or something... T_T

    i actually read the book halfway and figured it was the wrong version...

    yeah some of us do use PS, and tutorials and messing about is the best way to learn then make one let us rip it to shreads ;D then learn from the comments

    Yeah GFX is not the easiest thing to learn by yourself, i find that messing around with renders and C4D's by adding effects and whatnot was the best thing i could do to learn it.
