I like it. I have a question about brushes...When you download brushes does the program begin to use more resources because of the added brushes?

Thank you, dmac. I'm learning as I test everything out...I even watch youtube videos on how to do some of the effects. I'll get better with time.

The program would probably be slower, but only minimal, as they usually load it at the start, when it's opened.

Dmac, I wouldn't know what kind of sig to make next...lol...That one actually took some thought even though I love Fran. Any ideas and suggestions welcome. So I can learn more and be more creative in my spare time.

My sig is not my first...It's the first time working with a Fran render...


This sig I made for RO P-server I play on....And that was my first successful sig ever! ^_^

I like the monbre one, its different from the sigs that people are used to and its simple. So that rocks for me.

I think it looks nice, the first thing that caught my eye was the background and not the character herself. How did you get those lily effects, its cool. Also I love the text part where 'Mishy' is.

The brush for those "lily things" are called Abstract brushes...And the purple in the background is from a SpazzSet brush...both were found on deviant art. The 'Mishy' is I think a font called 'Alba' I think...lol...I worked on that sig for like 2 days. It's my fave...I'll make a better Fran sig later on...

your border is messed up, its on the inside of the background a long way on the right side and a small bit on the left and bottom

What looks like a bevel and emboss effect on the plain red to black gradient in the background is pretty horrible, text is awful and has really bad placement. 3 renders are distracting, there really isnt one focus since the main focal is transparent, also lose the outer glows. Also no idea why your little 'tag' is bright green against strong red, it really hurts the eyes.

Ouch, thanks for ripping it to shreds Almo. :-[ I was just trying some stuff around and ended up with that, I'll put more effort into the next sig. Im sure you think the current sig is just as horrible, correct?

Bright red under dark blue on the dominating image.....yeah pretty gross. you dont even notice Croft

it is needed, this thread has got far to weedy. all just going "wow that's really good" when half the time mediocre is the best they can be described.
we learn from being told about the mistakes and having harsh comments. i would of given harsh comments but i didn't feel like you guy would be able to take them.
I've had harsh comment over my Sig making time sometimes it was unjust because we all have different taste but some of it shows faults that can be improved upon.
allot of what almo said we completely true appart from the multiple renders bit that could look really good if you sort out the background (maybe all black) and change the other bits that need doing. don't worry we all get shredded and you also need to learn almo don't like multiple renders but that's his problem, i got shredded on this

it was my first one and i was proud of it and almo owned me.
it did look bad at the time and i made it look better as it does now

i like multiple renders but it has to be done well
