Seriously, no... CS3 is a pile of bloat... it does nothing ps 7.01 can't do and takes 4-6x longer to do it. In my experience anyway.

well there we go then. all uni's and college's computers suck. they never make them good enough to run anything and then cause they have massive networks it makes them run at stupidly slow speeds

Yes, see the Cell guy on the sig above you, that was a render. Then you edit the background so it can fit in with your own graphics to make a sig. Most people make the background of renders transparent.

    Re: The Signature Thread

apart from i make the renders myself. takes a long time but feels like I've accomplished something rather then making a colage (that's not a discredit to others here though)
but then again backgrounds are not a strong point of mine and i never get creative with my borders.

    Re: The Signature Thread

I use paint.net :) It doesn't seem that many people use it though... Some parts are quite hard to do in it...

    Re: The Signature Thread

I ''render'' renders also ^^' just 'cause I take stock, and sometimes i have to delimit character from background... nowdays I rather use stock than render.
And if I do something from render, I use that render to make BG, maybe one or couple brushes and also maybe other render or some picture.

Kryz... You have to upload it to somewhere... example photobucket, imageshack... there is a lot of different pages.

Where can I get better fonts for GIMP? I'm gonna make me a sig later today. I have to get my son a haircut and buy him a birthday outfit for his birthday party tomorrow.

Just put them C:\WINDOWS\Fonts [Okay... I believe that you know it^^'], and if GIMP is opened, close and open it again.

    Re: The Signature Thread

don't just download fonts for the sake of it; the more you have the slower windows gets, so try to minimise your fonts to those you actually use.
