Can someone make me a cool sig? ???

Would be great if it has something with Yoshi, jumping of joy! And i like backgrounds with that diagonal stripes.
Or make Yoshi fighting in Brawl or somethig...

It's best to start with a easier or alternative program, you learn a lot easier that way, unless you do take Photoshop etc. courses, in which you do learn with Photoshop then that's fine. Works same way with programming.

^ not entirely true, using GIMP does not really prepare you for photoshop, the step up is still huge, its more worthwhile to just take the plunge strait into PS, just keep plenty of tuts handy and youll be on your way :).

im just saying if you intend to use PS for more than just signatures then its more worthwhile to just go strait to PS, if you intend to only use GFX programs for sigs then the free editing programs will work just fine.

Almo where do i go to feather? I use Photoshop CS3. Been looking for ages to try and get rid of the few white bits around shadow so instead i did a light blur.

    Hey ^_^

Could someone have a go at making me an anime style sig? I'd really appreciate it :) I'd like Byakuya from bleach in it if possible, and the general theme of it to be dark and have cool effects in the background and such, i know its not much help but thats all i can really say and from what you guys have done i'm sure you'd come up with something awesome anyhow :D

    Thanks, Dyno

Dynodevil i had a try for you. Not sure if its what you wanted tho, and it didn't really turn out to what i thought it would.
I think i should improve the text. I'll post the improved one soon.

    Re: The Signature Thread

i had a go but i don't like doing anime sigs/ not very creative with them so its not very good, actually i really don't like it but i'll put it up just in case you do or it might prompt someone else to make a better one

lol read some tuts have we? much better than your other work. Though the 'golden' shadow looks kinda warped, make sure you hold down shift when transforming to maintain aspect ratio.

also to feather you need to make a selection of your render, then youll find feather by rightclicking or under the selection menu, try going to refine edge under the selection menu and play with the settings untill you're happy.

    Re: The Signature Thread

because i like working with sigs that big and i'm more interested in what is in the sig rather then a fancy swirly background. (the simple things in life)
what compells you to do tiny sigs with crazy backgrounds ;D
