Nice signature there mate. Your green part looks a bit off, but the rest is great. Need some better text as well, or don't add it in at all.

    Pretty much fucking perfect. :p
I hate to say anything bad about it at all, but it might be worth mentioning that the IRON MAN text doesn't look blended so well, for example, that bright pixel on the end of the "N" in "IRON". The "Airsoft" also looks quite stretched horizontally. But yeah, it's beautiful. You rock. Jealousy ensues, etc.

Hey guys I dont know which one looks better, or which size is allowed on the forums, is the other one too big or is the other too small?

I just wanted to make the DBZ characters look more cartoony, so I added those filters.

Does it look good for a first try? and would you suggest for me to add dragonquester as the title of it?

(Sorry for the repeating change of the sig links.. I decided to use photobucket now, my bad)

Really there is no set backround for "X" series experiment with your backround don't just use a gradient

i liked the before one. you should go on your own opinion if you like it thats all you need to know as other people have different tastes and someone will allways make a comment to change something.
your doing alot better now man and with ever sig you do your getting a little better so well done.
are you still not using photoshop, maybe its time to start using it and do more complex things

    Re: The Signature Thread

Oh yeah, hes meant to be a ghost... In the DBZ series, he dies and Gohan fights Cell because of that... So I made Goku smiling as he is watching his son fight, from heaven as a soul...

lol, thanks for the compliment man.. I never would have expected some of the advanced guys saying that Im getting better... And yeah man, Im still using GIMP but I will eventually go to PS, and get advanced there. For GIMP, I didnt read tuts or tutorials, I just played around with the settings a little, and thats how I work on my graphics... Well thank you for giving me advice, and I'll keep your opinion and comments in mind. Thanks

Oh sorry for asking, but does anyone know where I can get custom fonts for GIMP, and if so, where would I have to put the files to apply them to GIMP?

    Re: The Signature Thread

In that case I would suggest you reduce the opacity of that layer a bit

GIMP is just as good as ps when used properly. GIMP uses ordinary windows fonts, so just download them, add them to your fonts folder (C:\windows\fonts) and restart GIMP. Be aware that having an excessively large number of fonts can slow your system down.

    Re: The Signature Thread

Thanks for the info Loony... Before I read this post, I actually redid the graphic kind of... I made it look less cartoonish, and I added a light coming out of Gohans hand, (which is meant to be the start of a ki blast)

    Before I modified the graphic:

    Current Ki Blast Graphic:

I know its not much of a difference, but to me, I think the current ki blast one looks better.. What do you think?

    Re: The Signature Thread

Go to http://www.dafont.com/ if you want to get some nice looking fonts. That looks better, as the renders of your unmodified one is quite sharp. The blast looks quite nice too. Also, see if you can remove "fuzziness" around Cell.
