Good news for me, Im actually using GIMP and working it properly! I put the DBZ Cell (layer) onto the other background and now am trying other stuff..

Also a noob question, how do you increase the font of your text in GIMP? :-[

EDIT: Nver mind, Font size was right in front of me.

And I need help on getting rid of the bottom part that is blue and make his legs stand out without that blue background, using GIMP. I tried using the scissors, but no help. Anyone help?

Are you using Gimp or what? Because if you add a Alpha layer, you can just rub it out with a eraser, or use the fuzzy selection tool.

Yeah, Im finally using GIMP ;D

But you know in GIMP when something is blank, its kinda like a checkerboard with squares black and white?

I need to do that checkered pattern (or basically nothing) in that blue area... I just want his legs sticking out of the graphic. Can someone help me out?

Yeah that's transparency, go Layer, Transparency, Add Alpha Channel. Now you should be able to select fuzzy selector tool, select the blue area, hit delete, and hopefully it will be a nice clean look around the legs. If not, use a eraser and do it manually. It must be saved as a .png or .gif for the transparency to work. There may be another way to do this, but this is the only way I know.

Oh guys, Im not able to edit it right now because I turned on the computer for a few minutes and I cant fix the graphic right now, but I will.. Thanks for the info guys

I think Im finally done my First GIMP Graphic...



I still need to make it smaller to sig size (any help), and change it up a bit.. But how is it?

I really care more about the top one, so just tell me what you think.

Not too bad for a first try, get some better text though. To resize, go Image, Scale Image. It will keep it in proportion.
