keep going with GIMP, use it for a few days before giving up. Learning doesnt just happen, it requires a lot of work and motivation. Just keep trying new things and stick with it. Took me a few days to master the basics of PS

No offense, but this one looks absolutely terrible because you can't do transparency in Paint, therefore the cutting out of the render is absolutely terrible. Do it with Paint.NET, the GIMP, or Photoshop and it will be much better. Also, the text doesn't really blend in. It just looks like you... typed it on.

Haha no, that was Goky who gave it a 0/10, he gives everything a 0/10. As I said, though, the star thing looks out of place, place looks either too stretched horizontally or too compressed vertically. Or both. Or something. It's not bad though.

This is done wrong even at it's simplest core. The hitman guy is stretched horizontally and looks far too sharp. There is no border. There is no background. The text is bland and placed poorly. Black and white looks like it was a bad choice. You can do much better than this.

Again, no background, no border. The render has friggin' horrible textures too. The text is not only boring but extremely sharp.

The render looks out of place and it's outline is far too sharp and unsuiting. It looks like you did the text when you were high.

Poorly cut out render. Bad text (though decent concept if you did that in mspaint). The background looks like you have a small image, stretched it, and cut and pasted little pieces of it to fill the entire image. It's simply inconsistent. This sig is huge too. It's not easy on the eyes.

You can do better than these.

Thanks Cloudboy, that did take a little longer than the others. But yeah, I also kinda like how I merged the two backgrounds together, with Goku in the center...

Yeah, no offense taken. I admit that it does look like I typed it on, and I'd better work on the text and the transparency... Although, you're right. I cant do that stuff on Paint..

Yeah, the Hitman one is my least favourite, and I'd better start adding borders to my graphics.. And I DID admit that it turned out to be larger than the others dude... Plus, I wasn't high, I just wanted to try to match the backgrounds that were merged. (Green+Brown background= Green+Brown text) There is a reason why I did do it like that. Plus, I have a question? Can someone please tell me a way to make NICE borders on MS Paint? Because I've tried almost every way, and all of them turned out to be garbage... And I'd better try using GIMP...

Also, another thing, for GIMP, do you have to open the background of your graphic, and then open another window with your render, and put them together, and start adding effects such as blur, different colors, etc.?
Sorry if Im asking such a noob question
