    previous MoH games were all WW2 as far as I'm aware. In fact, I don't think I know of any WWI FPS games, which is surprising considering that WWI was so much more about trench warfare than WWII

    Natalie,i bet you won't play FPS without level...
    I mean,MW is casual to be honest with.It's fast and easy to get into.
    MW 2 is not the best selling game yet.I think Wii sport currently hold the crown.
    It currently has 25 million players.GTA games has always been popular as well.You have to remember that both are multiplatform.

    Toy Soldiers takes place during WWI if that counts. It's more an RTS/Tower Defense hybrid though. I don't imagine a shooter being too much fun if it took place during WWI.

    I know, when did I say it wasn't? I don't even like MW2.

    Sorry I meant to say that it was the fastest selling form of entertainment ever. 4.7 million units, setting a launch day media record. (It's also the 4th best selling game of all time)

    I wouldn't say that Wii Sports counts as the best selling game, considering the only way you can get it is by buying a Wii, since it comes bundled in.

    When did GTA come about?

    I don't see a WWI shooter being that much fun unless you strayed off the path a bit. Trench warfare and experimental weapons made the conflict somewhat interesting but to translate that into a shooter? Ehh, although I think if you sped up the digging process for trenches, I can find some fun in that.

    The Darkness has a portion of the game set in a highly fictionalized WWI setting.
