    well it could be possible but maybe for the ds lit for graphics they coul use a RAM pak and maybe the dsi won't need it because it can run an internet browser without the ram pak

    I mailed Nintendo if they are planning of making OOT DS:

    ANSWER:

    "I doesn't exist now, but who knows! Later meaby?"

    So that line is meaby the evidence that they are planning it.
    And the rumor isn't started by me... On various sites too!

    Hmm... looking at my DS, it would be hard to come up with a viable control scheme. Here's a combination I came up with off the top of my head:

    Control Pad: Move
    L: One Item Button (Also Ocarina Left)
    R:Target (Also Ocarina Right)
    X:One Item Button (Also Ocarina Up)
    Y:One Item Button (Also Ocarina Down)
    A:Talk, Roll, Interact with things ( Also
    Ocarina A)
    B:Sword
    Start: Pause/equip Items
    Select:Hmm, I don't know... Second option to flip through the menus, mabey?

    That way the person doesn't have to switch to some weird view to use items like the Hookshot, Fairy Bow and Sling shot. They could just put it on the 'L' Button for wasy access. The Touch Screen could be a second option for movement, even though it might be difficult to use. Also, The Mic isn't a must for NDS games, right? ...Just realized I forgot Defend... And I'm at aloss as to where to put it.

    And with the debate of wether or not the DS could handle OoT, I think it could. Like everyone was saying, just tweak it a little and you've got a port/remake. Although, I do agree with the fact that it's already on VC, so Nintendo would have very little to gain by doing this.

    ^I haven't played the N64 zelda game. Is it full 3d? If so, would it be better to have a button that controls the camera?

    Well, it's hard to find someone, particularly on a forum like this, who hasn't played Ocarina of Time.

    this would be cool from nintendo to make a remake but it would be almost imposible...but i have an idea.first for the control:

    d pad=move arround

    b=sword

    a=interact or item

    x=item

    y=item

    L=targeting

    R=shield

    and for the ocarina...we just have to use the same feature as spirit track.(move the ocarina while blowing in the microphone)

    ...easy task for the control and if i have any other idea,i will share it will everyone here.

    sorry im french

    I've never played it either, considered getting a PC emulator but in the end gave up because of the vast amount of controls required.
