    Oh damn dude...
    ):
I feel your pain. I guess...
    A scoop of Ice-Cream?
I got 5 A's in my report card and dad got me a XBox 360 PRO Console.
    I was soo happy!
    Now another 5 A's for a PS3! :)

    And don't worry dude.
You ought to get a next-gen console soon.
Oh and btw, why does your parents restrict you from consoles and games?
My parents only let me buy accessories and games with my own cash which is EXTREMELY LITTLE!
Do you do any other activities that include spending lots of cash for accessories?

Like football(football boots, footballs, shin pads etc.)
    or skating(decks,trucks,grip tape etc.)

I play football and my dad got me some decent Nike cleats which were quite expensive so I kinda understand why he didn't allow me to empty his wallet on games.
    Cheers.
    :)

    GeForce 9500GT is very outdated.
My sister's laptop which is about 1 and a 1/2 years old has nVidia 9600GS.
    Its really basic.
The processor is pretty average. But get Core i5 if you can.
Try to look out for ATi Radeon HD57-- series.
Or if your going with nVidia, look out for a GTX 295.
    Its really good!
But it isn't the cheapest card in the market.
Oh and if your getting Windows 7 as your OS, make sure you get AT LEAST 2GB's of RAM.
    4GB for optimum performance.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers and congrats!

PC coop shooter? BORDERLANDS! If you don't play it....I don't know. Puppy corpses will flood your house or something. It would be bad. But, your comp can't run it. Or anything recent. So, you can shell out a bunch of cash every once and a while to upgrade, or get over your crazy "not getting consoles" stuff and get a ps3. If you can't get that, at LEAST get an 360. The old stuff is great and all, but not really. You can't stay in the past, man! LIVE IN THE NOW!

How about star wars battlefront 1 or star wars battlefront 2? I think there on the ps2 and pc, and they have alot of coop modes together.
