    ^ lol dont patronize me i know what photosythesis is,
    though what that fails to mention is that during decomposition of the plant (leaves, tree, ect). the bacteria which decompose the leaves use up about 85% of the oxygen created by the plant, also the process releases CO2.
    Also at night the process reverses, plants actually take up oxygen and give out CO2.

    though you are generally right, we are releaseing large amounts of stored carbon by felling.

    lol it was interesting but im not sure I want to work in that field any more, however I know most of our native NZ trees by genus and species name, so i walk around and point and trees and be like hey look theres a phyllocladus trichomanoidies!
