System date error?

1.24b was the latest, if I'm correct.

But if the card is an R4, not an R4i, it won't work on the DSi...

 

1.25b now, got updated yesterday, ok i'll try that one, i haven't got a DSi anyway, mine's an original DS

Ok, files go on new card, i don't get the date error, but i'm getting terrible lag both in menu and in game

 

Did you format the card before you used it?

I had that too, but not "terrible".

Yes, for best results it is recommended.

 

Just tried, Gparted shows the same key icon as on the last one and the format option is still greyed out.

I also tried the other firmware on that page, and still got lag and audio distortion(Which i had with the other one but forgot to mention)

...well, add a windows partition to your drive please and install a version of windows on it, this is not gonna work...

 

Sorted the formatting, turns out i had to unmount the MicroSD first to get rid of the key icon, then it was formatable, formatted it to FAT32 but i'm still getting the lag

 

In the menu it does lag when scrolling and clicking, yes.

 

Just menu wouldn't bother me, but it's in game too with sound problems

Just checked the other 4 games i have and no, just Animal Crossing

EDIT: Just plugged it back in to add some stuff and now there's a few new files on it with weird names and now this card is read only too D=!

 

...not again.

How are the files called? Japanese stuff?

If so format the card without backing up the stuff, it will not work anymore.
